Remarks

College management focused on students admission not on academics they focus on infrastructure.

AIEEE, because I found best college that matches my rank so by opted rank I go for counselling in UTU.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose mechanical for doing bachelor technical degree by choosing them there is an open scope for me to join R&D sector which is either government or private and also to join DRDO to explore the Indian technology in international market.

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunity is not good at all because management focus on their earning and the infrastructure of college not too much focused on academics and T&P cell 3,4 cs students were placed 1,2 eee students me and civil.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is expensive 1,50000+ per year including hostel which is expensive for students like me.

Gender ratio is 65:35 extra activity program is quite poor labs were poor sports man is very well skilled players I also play for my college team as vice captain but sports facilities not provide by our college religion is mostly hindu economics status 30%.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is very good because of well qualified and better management skill examination controller.

Admission

I got approx 95000 rank in AIEEE so i go for the counselling of UTU (uttarakhand technical university) and found best college that suited my AIEEE rank and after counselling i choose mechanical engineering which is best in my college in faculty point of view.

Its environment friendly behaviour, Education and Gate rank especially helps me to choose this college . They helps in tackling real life applications by teaching us about the real life situation sometime by seminar hall 3-D representation and sometime by robotic club and sports activities . Some professors are the student of my college only their teaching attitude is not so good they should replace. Difficult questions are not there in the exam if you have gone through the lecture then you can easily solve all the questions . 3hrs. is the timing set in the semester exam

Good place for your undergraduate degree

Placement Experience:

placements are good here with a avg package of 5 lakhs but students who work reall hard get placemnts more than 10 lakhs the highest package at my time was of 58 lakhs and many got 10-20 lakhs package as well so i say placements aare decent here. Companies such as oracle adobe palalto visits here and they give higher packages to students.

Placement Experience:

After completing 3rd year students are offered for internship.From my university, placement offer for Btech students with an average package of 3 to 4 lakh. placement rates vary by program and year ,with some reporting over 70%placement with average salary of 2-3 lakh. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro,Tech Mahindra Etc. About 50-60%students got scholarship. Talking about the top roles that offered are software developer,data scientist and system analyst . Admission criteria are different as I took admission under SC category so it was 67% cut-off for me as otherwise it was 81%. Shivalik College of Engineering is excellent choice!!

I applied for Graphic Era University and I was invited too for counseling but at the same time I was getting confirmed admissions here as well. 81% was the cut-off for BBA ar Shivalik College of Engineering and I had a slight more than that.
