Remarks

This college is second choice of jee students among others college in Uttarakhand. This is a government college. This is near the THDC project so there are chances that this project can offer jobs. mechanical branch is broad branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is according to UTU (Uttarakhand technical university). This branch is related to machines and equipment. The mechanical branch has a high scope in automobile. So main focus is on that course. Faculty devotes there all time in teaching not let us free. Himanshu nautiyal sir he is so dedicated for teaching.

The college take care of placements and packages. There are many companies visit our college for offers average package is of 6-7 lakh. There are many students who hot package of 10 lakh and above.

The campus is near lake so it's so beautiful place. It's also near the dam so it's a busy place tehri. The campus life is hectic as schedule is tight. There are many events organised by college like works shops on robotics, machines,tools, etc. And many fests sports fest, college fest,tehri fest.

A well rounded experience at GEHU dehradun .

Placement Experience:

At GEHU, placement eligibility starts from the 6th semester. companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Amazon visit the campus. The highest package offered is around 35LPA and the average is 4-6LPA. About 70-80% of students get placed , mainly in IT and management roles. After completing my degree I plan to work in the industry and later pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placement are fine I won't say good for our course most of students prefer for higher students so the placement percentage will be 50- 60 . Student are eligible in their last for placement . Placement are provided by college but if you want off campus it's the students choice . The companies are :- United bioceuticals, ALPS , graphic era hospital etc.

Placement Experience:

Infy, Techno India, Brumha and many as techies are required all over. From a watchmaker to salt maker without a techie a business can't grow big. So, even though there are 500+ CSE students still 75 percent or so get placed easily from our campus.

I took admission in Covid year, 2020.So all of colleges had delayed the admission procedure, but THDC was admitting on basis of 12th marks before even JEE mains was completed. I had not much prep for Jee, so I took admission in THDC as it was in my home district. Now the admission process is entirely online.
