Remarks

It is a very good experience here. The campus life is good and the hostel facilities are also good. However, the faculty members were not much better and the labs are also average. But, the extra-curricular activities are good here and we have sports, counseling sessions etc. The college ground is also good. It is a pollution-free campus and we have a Wi-Fi facility in the hostel. We also have an indoor sports complex which was new this year and many events like startups and all will be organised on the campus.

Entrance Preview

I gave jharkhand entrance exam and i my score 14000, but I got admission in college through the CLC,Some colleges and universities do use college entrance exams as part of their entrance criteria. But, no college uses entrance exam scores alone to determine who gets in. Many colleges use ranges of scores. For instance, a student ranking in the top 10 percent of his or her high school graduating class might need a relatively low score on an entrance exam, or in some cases might not need an entrance exam score at all, to get in. But, a student who doesn't have a very high rank among his graduation class might still be admitted if he or she scores very well on an entrance exam. Contact the school or schools you are interested in to find out if and how they use college entrance exam scores to help determine admission.

Assessment is an ongoing process aimed at understanding and improving student learning. It involves making our expectations explicit and public; setting appropriate and high standards for learning quality; systematically gathering, analyzing, and interpreting evidence to determine how well performance matches those expectations and standards; and using the resulting information to document, explain, and improve performance.

Internships Opportunities

Placement Experience

Work placements and internships give you the opportunity to develop relevant skills, knowledge and experience while getting firsthand experience of life in a real working environment. Be creative when thinking about work placements - use your contacts; take a look at the professional body for your sector, and see what opportunities they offer; use your holidays wisely by putting some time aside for gaining experience as well as enjoying time off.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Financial assistance is a necessity for many college students, particularly those planning careers that require many years of education beyond the undergraduate level. Scholarships have unique benefits and are the most desirable form of financial aid. Many are merit-based or awarded as recognition for certain achievements. Like grants, scholarships do not have to be repaid. But grants are often need-based, so scholarships are more prestigious and can enhance your resume as well as help you pay for your education.

Campus Life

1.5

Campus Life knows the journey of adolescence is different for everyone. We are committed to coming alongside students, meeting them where they are, in order to help them navigate these years.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

The mess arrangement of the hostel is compulsory for all the inmates without any exception i.e, no student is allowed to stay in the hostel without being a member of mess. When the hostels have excess demand for accommodation and is unable to provide accommodation to all the applicants, the students who find accommodation nearby may be permitted to have the mess facility by collecting full charges for that academic year with an undertaking from such students that they shall join the hostels as and when the hostels provide them accommodation.

Alumni/Alumna

Long after graduation, class leaders will help your class community stay close and tied back to the university (come wind, high water or new social media platforms). The Stanford Alumni Association provides opportunities for you to stay involved as well. Be a part of the Recent Grad Reunion Team, help plan a young alumni event in your new city, or lead a Beyond the Farm volunteer project.

Exam Structure

New pattern is encouraging owing to which we have decided to change exam pattern for rest of semesters. Students have also liked the word limit format," said exam controller A K Singh. The new pattern question paper is focusing on word limit of writing every question, something that present format lacks in. From this year, RGTU has made first three questions mandatory in each unit of exams for students of first and second year. There are five units in the paper. Number of questions increased from 10 to 20.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The first year is the foundation year... In which every small yet necessary things is taught to you. We're told about an assignment in briefing. And how we've to do the assignment is left on us to explore our creativity to use our mind in creation of something this is originally yours. This approach helps you to grow as a creative being... It prepares really well. I mean I used my learnings from my first semester in my second semester and it helped me to achieve a different and very unique design for many assignments given in the second semester. No such improvements for the curriculum. I've spoken to some NID visiting facilities too about the same. They say the appropriate approach to teach an important course has been followed in your college which sometimes is not even followed in NID too. We've a sem end jury which helps us to gain external validation for our work as a designer that helps us to grow.

Remarks:

The college is far from the city. And it is near a forest, because of which sometimes wild animals enter the college campus. But there are guards everywhere to protect the students. Students are not allowed to leave the hostel after 10:30(especially girls). Giving wild animals as a reason. But because of this students are not able to access places like library and computer lab at night. They couldn't even do combined projects because of such stupid rule. Instead of building higher boundary walls and electrocuting the walls. The administration here are trying to lock the students inside their rooms.
