I chose NMIMS Bangalore over KJ Somaiya from where i got an offer as well because NMIMS is a brand name, the batch size compared to KJ Somaiya is one third and the average placement is higher as well. One other reason would be the high cost of living in Mumbai. I applied to KJ Somaiya and TAPMI as well. Rejected KJ Somaiya and didn’t get shortlisted for TAPMI. I got rejected from TAPM, their shortlisting criteria completely changed and I couldn’t do anything to change it. The admission process for NMIMS Bangalore is basically by clearing the NMAT exam, I scored around 230 and the cut off for it was i think around 224. NMIMS only take NMAT for consideration. College admission process is merely easy comparing to other. I chose this college because I had heard alot about this and did not go to SLS Nagpur because of the location. There was a entrance test called NPAT and I got a rank of 3202 and I got the admission in nmims Bangalore they doesn't mention the cut off. And it's a very easy process for admission only the test I have to do nothing else. Application fees was also not high it's only 1500rs at my time...Read More

Students have to appear for NMAT which is specially organized by NMIMS University and different campuses have different cutoffs for NMAT. Once a student is eligible for a campus, he/she has to sit for 2 rounds of interviews usually, the GD round or a written test on an impromptu topic and an interview round. Students are marked accordingly and sent an offer letter.
