Good college in terms of student.

College management is pretty understandable and supports students to explore all the possibilities but with conditions applied the attendance scenario is strict.

I gave number of entrance exams such as IITJEE, BITSAT. And secured a score of 58 in JEE . I had options like VESIT , TCOE but in electronics. I took admission in this college for computer engineering solely.

Institute follows the pattern of course drafted by Mumbai university where the subjects of first year of engineering are same for all branches from second year all branches have different department and faculty we don't have elective subjects till now , it will be offered to us in semester 6th.

I still had not reached to the semester in which it is provided , but they hold various contests and quizzes with companies to offer internship in projects run by companies.

As our college is rebooted in the year 2014 we are the first batch to be graduate from the college companies come in campus in semester 7 we are still in semester 5th . But we are being told that there definitely be many companies for placements . At apsit we're helped in all possible ways by our faculties and HOD.

10 days of sport meet up where students from various departments and years come and play to win in various sports cultural fest is held of 5 days or sometimes 7 days with various social events . Where as technical events they are celebrated at time of engineers day.

Fees structure is comparably reasonable than other colleges affiliated under Mumbai university according to the services they provide we re offered ac facility in classrooms and labs also in libraries we re being given Access to wifi in canteen also exam fees charges are taken by college in fees already we don't have to pay extra small amount later in any point of semester if you don't have a kt.

An educational loan is provided via icici bank , also reimbursement of fees to Jain as its a Jain minority college.

Campus life is pretty average in terms of hanging out spots inside of college students generally hangout in canteen or play some sports in the back of the college , campus is well planned and planted with trees and various gardens . Gender ratio in branches like CE,IT,EXTC is 40%-45% but in ME,CIVIL it is down to 15% .various extracurricular activities are held throughout the AY , such as 5 days cultural fest and a 10 days of sports competition between branches and years . Ps there are lot of Jains also no non veg food in college (sad).

There are no hostel facilities provided by college but some students live as paying guests in near by apartments. As our college is new we don't have hostels but they are planning for hostels later in near future normal rent as paying guests is around ₹5k to 8k depending around the locality.

We don't have alumni till now cause we are the first batch but few of professors are from old college of ours.

Exam structure is same as the Mumbai university has made the structure for . The vivas and practical exams are held after the final submissions of assignment and journals then it is followed by 15 days max of preparation leave and a month long written exam of marks 80 or 60 depending on the subjects credits .

I was allotted this college via the admission process of DTE Maharashtra. After allotment I just had to visit the college and fill up there application form and payment done in only Demand draft , now can be done online also . I was well assisted by the staff for form filling and other processes . Various affidavit were also told to be drafted by me for eg. Anti ragging affidavit.

As long as my experience the faculty overall is knowledgeable and experienced as nothing's 100% perfect there are few professors to be aware of in terms attitude towards the students faculties do well and try out to help students in many ways as possible.
