Remarks

Higher placements. They provide all the facilities that a student require. The campus is very close to nature. The labs are very advanced. The faculties are also great. We get to ask doubts to faculties.

Course Curriculum Overview

Int MSc physics with minor in computing is the course I opted. This course is a very advanced course. We get to solve problems in physics and also differential equations using python. Python is a very good computer language. So this course also provides job opportunities.

Class Size: 33Course Fees: INR 520000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a student exchange program which allow the students to go abroad and complete their course from other famous universities. Students only have to take the expenditure for stay and food. Tution fees is not required.

Campus Life

The campus is very environment friendly. Wifi is available 24/7 in the campus. There is a sports complex which has almost all the sports related courts and equipments. Library is huge. It has lots of books. Labs are really advanced.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel has 24/7 wifi facility. Two people are accomodated to a room. Bathroom is attached. There is also a great balcony at the top of the hostel building. This often helps to decrease their stress.

Hostel Fee: INR 69500 per year

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
