Great college

St. Andrews is a really good experience I would say. First I was little afraid that I am going to live out of my house but people have helped me to cope up with my education.

JEE examination used for getting addmission in various PG/UG courses including engineering,management,architecture etc. Mainly this exam conducted in the month of April and the result declared after 2 months.

The course curriculum as per mdu and includes a lot of theory and practicals although project work is given to usually 3 year students. Other than that our teachers are helpful in covering the syllabus even if we miss your classes sometimes they give us lectures and also provide us with mercy grades.

Yes they provide internship opportunities to 2nd 3rd year students. Some of the companies come on campus and for others we go for off campus placement events.

Our college's main aim is to place each student to the good companies according to their strength . So, our college is tied up with many companies like HCL, Accenture , TCS , Wipro, etc. more than fifty sixty companies. Placement of the college is around 80% and for CSE branch it is about 90%. And if you know somewhat about your subjects then you will definitely got a job.My all friends got the job and the the many people I know or in my mind got the job. Companies came to campus are-TCS, Igate, Prolifics, VIRTUS, AInfogain, Polaris, Aks software Infostreach And many more.

We start with the freshers party which is conducted in the first year then it caried forward with a lot of industrial visits and corporate people coming to the campus to council us about the opportunity in there companies. other than that we attend combined annual functions of the st. Andrews group in the month of December.

Fee structure i quite feasible. I had given the scholarship examination of the college through which I got scholarship for my B.tech. College fees is around 80000 per year. Other than that college canteen is not that expensive and we dont have to spend a lot on books as most of the books are available in the library.

Yes they have there own scholarship examination through which we can get scholarships. Usually students get their loans easily approved. I didnt wanted to take a loan so I never tried for it.

Campus life is Awesome. College has a very big campus and lot of good students from different states so we could mingle with them. Majority crowd is from Delhi so it is easy to communicate with them and we have fun time here. Our college has a lot of labs as i belong to cse I was not using all of them bu there were many.

Our college has recently developed a new hostel wing which is really amazing the rooms over there are modern with amazing gym canteen and other sports facilities. The mess facilities are really great as the college has a in house cooking team and it is not outsourced so we are given both veg and non veg food to eat.

Yes seniors are really helpfull. Specially in the initial stages when i came to the campus they helped us getting familiar with the city and what to buy from where. Other than that they help us figure out what to study for the exam.

Exam structure is as per MDU where we have internal exams, project work, class tests and then sessional exams. apart from that we have two semesters every year of which the exams are conducted at the end of the semester. Usually MDU exams are carried forward from last year so if we do the previous year question papers we are able to attempt the questions.

Faculty is really good. Most of the faculty is from NIT's and IIT. The management does a good work of providing us withe the best teachers. Although some of them are quite strict in terms of attendance, at the end of the semester we can do do projects and extra work to get attendance.
