It is a very good place for the studies even in physically and mentally. No stress will be provided to the students. They let the students to be on their own for their inovations

The toughness in the subject and the new things which are been introduce because of the autonomous college , so the latest technologys are reveiled.This helps to make a better profeesional manner. And the exams which are conducted are very relevent to the contents taken

They bring lots of companies for the campus interview like cognizant,TCS,wipro,sopra steria, and etc. All of them attended the companies and most of them got selected in all companies . The internship are provided by the companies and the college let us do our internship

Cyberknots,hilaricas,events,pongal celebration etc are held in our college campus where to technology symphosiam and the cultural oriented programs and events will also done to give the culture to the next generation and celebrate the festivals and other programs

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible fee structure for which giving a equal education to all the students. Average of 1LPA will be taken by the college. With all the accomodations like transport, food,hostel etc. Any mode of payment is been accepted in the college so all can pay the fees by their needs

No i dint avail any scholership or loan for the education. Because no need of a large amount of money to spend here

Campus Life

A very good campus with a good environment with a pollution free place. The gender ratio is equal with 50 50 of boys and girls. Sports also given the equal preference as in acadamics. Labs are with high tech features are provided so all can learn easily

Alumni/Alumna

The every year alumini list and thier comments will be displayed in the college websites. And number of placements are been displayed in the college and how they got placed are been displayed for the other students to improve how to handle the interview situation to place on the required company

Admission

The invitation of college is the main reason to join the college at the date of july 16 and got the admmision in the college. And im very familiar in the coding from the childhood so im intrested in taking the computer science engineering and im now planing to do MS computer science

There are almost 40 staffs who taken all the 48 subjects in 8 semesters they are experinced with their profeesion so they led us to the better studies in the sudent and also tech the advanced technology which used to know about the recent technologys happening in the field

In vlb Janakiammal college of arts and science kovaipudhur coimbatore ,i dont know much about the placements but there are so much placements for everyone the placement success rate is almost 98 persent

Likes

They allow all cultural events.They also conduct events in the college

They increase penalty if students dont pay the sem fees on time then they also increase the exam fees from sem to sem

Life in HIMT

Likes

With regards to training and placements the college is very good . All training as per DGMA and IMU is strictly followed and the placements for B.Sc is 90% and above . The faculties and instructors in the college are well experienced and skilled.
The college is strict regarding alcohol and smoking and it is not allowed inside campus and regular alcohol checks are conducted . Discipline and safety is the first priority for the college.
Classrooms are air conditioned. Hostel rooms are good . Any defects in rooms or any places inside college which are addressed are rectified.

Dislikes

College doesn't conduct inter college events . Internal events are very less . The few events conducted in college has also many restrictions.
Galley food can be better . College canteen is not good

Placement Experience:

The placements for B.Sc Nautical science in HIMT is 90% and above . The placement drive usually starts in the 2nd year (4th semester) and for girls 1st year (2nd semester). The companies which usually come for placements in my college are MOLMI,MOLTA, ZODIAC,SANMAR,GENCO, ONESEA etc ... The package for cadets differ from company to company and type of vessel.

The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My great experience in HIMT

all staffs are we experienced in their field and good in explaining, very friendly
hostel is well maintained and college is always clean
everything works in college based upon the review system. so any issues will resolve quickly

Placement Experience:

HIMT has good placements rates to all the batches, espically for GME they are doing well good. many gets placements in first semester itself. many big gaint companies in marine industry are approching to HIMT for placements.

I got admission in this college via counselling. I had PCB in 10+2 and gave NEET which a national entrance test exam to get admission into medical courses. The scores obtained in entrance exam matters a lot in deciding the merit.
