I would like to say about our HOD of mechanical branch, since he is only worst person i had ever seen in my life.
Course Curriculum Overview
It's just about following the rules and regulations. This entire exam structure just deals as job done by the administration but doesn't understands the situation of a student life and about their training is in right way or not. It doesn't make any student like me an profeesional.
Placement Experience
The placements in out college is good in this year based on my personal experience. But i didn't availed any till yet.
College Events
According to my experience, the biggest event/fest celebration in my college is named as NIRVANA which is celebrated usually in month of March. This fest includes cultural fest and DJ night. All the branches are involved in this fest with individual names like mechanical branch as named event as IGNITO so on.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Based on the expenditure and reputation, the fee is feasible. There is an additional fee of 5000 rupees, collected as miscellaneous fee every year. It's good for the people from good backgrounds, but somewhat difficult for moderate people. There is no transparency in fee breakdown.
Fees and Financial Aid
I had optioned for scholarship which is given by the state government based on merit in entrance exam(ECET exam).
Campus Life
Mostly the students themselves are causes of the economic problems, other than its fine. The sports equipments are usually used by the students who are economically strong since they don't have to focus on the studies and no problem of transportation. Coming to labs, they are equipments not working properly since lack of maintenance.
Alumni/Alumna
I had didn't suggested to any advises from the alumini/senior students because I was not interested in contacting them.
Admission
I got this college through ecet counseling and have choosen this course since I am interested in mechanical components, which made me to choose Mechanical Engineering. The admission is done based on the entrance exam score and few admissions are sold at last.
Faculty
The faculty can be assessed through mobile and social media mostly WhatsApp. The number of lecturers are based on number of subjects in current semester, including some staff who are present in department room. Most of the staff are of aged upto 50 years with 5 to 10 years experienced in this field and are post graduated (PG).
