Remarks

It's good for interior designing. And it's a pretty nice university and it's big. You get a lot of exposure and get to meet people from various parts of the country. It has amazing cultural fest and extra activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is pretty good but you have to work hard. It's hectic. Curriculum changes every few years. Not much or less industrial exposure. Students have to take initiative for industrial tour, make a lot of effort, faculty doesn't provide tour and or any kind of educational trip whatsoever. Faculties are good except few.

Placement Experience

Placement or good depending on your curricular and non-curricular achievements. Companies offering jobs are very big and nice. My department most of the students start their own firm or practice privately. Few are recruited by big construction company or architecture firm. contact is very good related to job offer.

College Events

Campus life is best. Milan the cultural fest is very well known. It's one of the best college fest. Extracurricular activities are pretty good and fun. They are big with huge cash prize and exciting prizes. Participation is very easy with a low amount of entrance fee.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is good, but our department (architecture department) only looks good from outside from inside it's not good. No WiFi. No ac. Fans in a huge classroom is insufficient. Projectors are not working most of the time. Engineering department is pretty good. There is a huge sports ground. And for all the sports there is space. Central library is pretty good.

Hostel Facilities

It's sharing basis. 2-3 people in a single room. but girls hostel is nice coz it's recently constructed. Hostel facility is easy if you are a fresher. Near college there are lot of good apartment to stay, and it's comparatively cheap, per month it will cost you around 7k max

One of the southern indian most famous chemical company is there in our circle and other chemicals companies are there. other then this reason I like the chemistry subject and exciting to learn. In our chemistry department teacher give good preparation for the semester exams. My point of view the exams are easy to write excepting only few subjects.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.
