Remarks

The college is not so good but it's also not so bad. Culturally it has been enriched with many activities academic records are also good but lack of placement facilities and professional skills in main drawback.

Course Curriculum Overview

The education and exam structure is completely memory based. It doesn't improve your professional skills at all. Instead it dulls them. One gets a degree but not skills. A very few industrial visits are there. The structure takes one away from the practical life. It makes one book worm.

Placement Experience

0.5

No internships are there and no placements by the college. If you further get selected that depends upon your own hard work. The college doesn't effort in this direction.

College Events

5

Many cultural events are celebrated in the college. Like lohrhi, holi, bsant, birthdays of all sikh gurus. Teeyan (Punjabi: ????) is the Punjabi name of the festival of Teej which is celebrated in Punjab (where it is also called Punjabi teej) which is dedicated to the onset of the monsoon and focuses on daughters and sisters. This is the best celebration of my college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive. The fee structure is not poor friendly. No internships are there and no placements by the college. If you further get selected that depends upon your own hard work. The college doesn't effort in this direction. One is to bear heavy load of fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I applied twice for a scholarship but I didn't get that. I applied for Mai Bhago scheme for single girl child.

Campus Life

This is a girls college. So no question about gender ratio. Many cultural events are celebrated in the college. Like lohri, holi, basant, birthdays of all sikh gurus. focuses on daughters and sisters. Many workshops are arranged by the college

Hostel Facilities

No, I do belong to the same town so I am a day scholar. I didn't opt for a college. No internships are there and no placements by the college. If you further get selected that depends upon your own hard work. The college doesn't effort in this direction.

Alumni/Alumna

A strong alumni network is there. There is an alumni association that works for this purpose. All the alumni are joined through different mediums of communication

Admission

I took admission in this college as it's rating was the best in my area as I belong to rural area.taking Admission was not at all difficult. I just met the principal and submit my fee to get the roll no. And then I was done with admission. Nothing like entrance exams is there

Faculty

3.5

In terms of faculty, lecturers are good natured, cooperative, helpful in studies. But as I have already stated they too teach in the manner to make you able to hold a degree not skills. It doesn't improve your professional skills at all. Instead it dulls them. One gets a degree but not skills. A very few industrial visits are there. The structure takes one away from the practical life. It makes one book worm.

The average package offered by university is around ?3-4 lakhs but only 30-40% of students successfully secure the on-campus placements.

The placement of our college is good but its lack to bring big names but overall it's 3 out of 5 as it's basically focus on bringing software companies but our stream is of electronics so we donot have that much knowledge about coding so we lack to get placed this is the only disadvantage of the placement cell here

In 3rd semester a student is eligible for campus placement but it is all upto to students that they have to maintain a good cgpa and skills for interviews. In Chitkara university a good number of companies visited like Microsoft, google and they provide 100+ offerletters. 85-90 % students get placed in Chitkara university. After getting degree I firstly join to the company .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do this degree since I was in 12th class. I wanted to be a doctor either by doing BDS or MBBS. This curriculum of a degree prepares well for the real words so that we can start our own practice, but you have to be willing to learn if you do not learn in your college properly. Then you might have to learn from outside, but it prepares you well for the real life. The exams are held once at the end of every year and the difficulty level of exams is moderate to high, so you have to study very seriously if you want to pass with good marks After the theory exams, they take the practical exams and there is equal mark distribution between theory and practical, and you have to obtain 50% marks for passing
