There is not much strict compared to other college. Their infrastructure is best in Chennai and there is so much diverse in our college. Staffs are good and intellectual not so much strict people are so good and SRM has good name outside

They always provide latest syllabus which are updated the industrial expose is stunning the faculty are the plus for the SRM university they never discourage you they are the friendly staffs ever I got a sir called Sri Hari one of he best he always starts a class with motivational speech and ends in a story he never make you bored and make you feel about you he is the best

Lot of company visits every year mainly IT companies like DlF, Google, Amazon, Acess health care, HCL, Vipro, TCS, Mahindra, Honda, FORD etc My class had 70 people out of 70, 66 people got placed eventually but no lot of people doesn’t show that much interest the placement process is simple you should have atleast 70% plus in your academic so they select those people For general interview which is like basic interview and once you got eligible the next is a peace of cake. You will meet the company which is appointed to you and you have some interview with them. Notable alumni people is Murali vijay Cricketer, nakul mehrotra (ceo tech a mania), Niveda thomas actor, Brothers Vinay Singhal, Parveen Singhal and their college friend Shashank Vaishnav are behind the fastest growing viral content website - Wittyfeed. lot of things there to say in campus life. Every day is a new day in college something so much happening everysingle day some of the famous events are silver frame which is India level competition and Milan is so much famous with dj night and everything Rampus is also the best which have indian level competition

My campus is 250 acres with big basketball court, two cricket grounds one lake view one indoor stadium two open air theatre where people use to sit and study and chat three canteens and 12 labs if am not wrong labs are full covered with AC and equipment never make you to feel old they are all well maintained and new equipments and also we have three libraries out of three one is huge with two floors and the others are small
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are well maintained my friends lot of them are hostellers they never complain about anything even the wardens is good and he seems nice even the outside comes and visit the hostellers hostels are fully air conditioned and mess food is astonishing they feel Likes home food each room has separate bathroom each year the total hostel fee is 100000 and you need hostel you should apply with the course it is pretty much each everything is easy in STM
