Remarks

Super food, environment is super even compared with higher education.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is completely based on the structure given by anna university. The course syllabus is changing regularly for every 4 years. The curriculum is quietly lacks upon current technology when compared to the iits. It's not enough to become a complete engineer and it is difficult to secure a placement opportunity in on-campus. The industrial visits are rarer for the students. My batch during the course period had only one industrial visit.

Placement Experience

3.5

It's not actually a placement what the students actually got in the on-campus. It's the internship for certain period after that depending upon either performance or not, they became their permanent employees. Sometimes, internships are both provided and sometimes they are hired for direct employment. Companies like amazon, byjus, ducen, etc. Came for hiring students. For these, one should must have least no. Of backlogs or sometimes no backlogs. Only those will be allowed for the recruitment pool. They have been trained for a whole year for this recruitment based upon their selection of their interest either it is a core or it is a it field. After that, once they're eligible, they gone through the written test, after that sometimes group discussion, technical rounds, hr interview.

College Events

5

Velan thiruvizha(for pongal) power puff girls (for women's day) kalam(intercollege events) ieee conference annual day hostel day sports day orientation day graduation day onam celebration agathiyam(tamil manram celebration) department orientation day media guild.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is announced by anna university fees structure. Thr total amount is 3. 5lakhs. For every year 80, 000 for academics. If you are hostel, another 75, 000 to be paid. So, for a hosteller, it us nearly 6. 5 lakhs. This is exclusion of exam fees. The mode of payment is both offline and online. Yes, amount of 5000 namely caution deposit were collected during the admission. The transparency can be said to be in the view of receipt where they've written 40000 for academics.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is only one scholarship provided through the college by the anna university which is availed for annual community scholarship. The college offering scholarship not for all joining this college. It avails only for students who got higher cut off marks. The average sum of this scholarship is nearly the academic fees if you're a day-scholar and including hostel fees if you're an hosteller.

Campus Life

Campus life is somewhat bizarre when you compared with other institutions. The college is very strict for its regulations. So, many rules implemented beyond the guidelines. So, it's like a school. When talk upon the gender ratios, the female students are more in number than male students. There has been a diversity among the students because they were from different states even from different countries like Sudan, etc. There's no student's leader for this college so there's no requirement of elections. Students are free from politics. Economic status are normally higher for almost all the students, only some of them have low economic background like me.

Hostel Facilities

Yes. I'm a hosteller. For the first years, due to attract them, the floor is filled of granite tiles while the other rooms are not. My room's size is 10×15 and 4 per the room. The average rental is 3000 per month and for food, the charge is 3000 per month.

Alumni/Alumna

No, I didn't meet any seniors. My interaction with senior students is very low. I rarely spoke with those people.

Admission

I got admission in this college through counseling which is the regular annual engineering counseling conducted by the Anna University which is the common organization for all engineering organizations among the state. The counseling is purely based upon the cutoff marks scored by the students. I got admission in 07. 07. 2016. I chose this college because of the suggestion given by the neighbors. On before that, I've chosen engineering because I didn't get enough score for medical course.

Faculty

3.5

The lecturers are so vast in numbers but rather than the students population. The average age is nearly 40 and most of them qualified as ph. D scholars. They teach as per the guidelines designated by the anna university. Their teaching method is a whole pack of giving the pass percentage as high as possible. So, they mainly focus upon the students help them to pass the subject. Yes of-course, some of them have a very well experience in industry side for almost 5 to 10 years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college .
