Remarks

PDPU is the most famous university of Gujarat. University is ranked in top 3 institutions for engineering in Gujarat. It is known for its quality education and campus life. PDPU is highly qualified for its placements. As its chairman is Mr. Mukesh Ambani, one can be influenced by him to get admitted in this university.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum are very well structured for students to get in depth knowledge of a subject. Teachers are highly qualified i.e. no one is less than a mastered graduate. Industry visits and providing quality industrial internships are PDPU's very strong points.

In beginning of last year, Career Development Cell start calling companies for placements. They inform students prior the day of company coming. The registered students give interviews and the flow goes on.

College Events

Every year, 3 big festivals are held. Science and Technical fest in October, Sports Fest in February and Cultural festival is held in April. Other than those, Navaratri of PDPU is centre of attraction across the city.

Campus Life

PDPU campus is across over 100 acres. It contains all facilities that a world class university must have. It has a super speed wifi network which connects you even at the corners of the campus. 3 libraries, all sports grounds and courts are its well known facilities.

Hostel Facilities

PDPU boys hostel and PDPU high raise hostels are in vast campus area. Both hostels accommodate approximately 2000 students. Although hostel fees are very high, it is worth paying. Everyday room cleaning, super speed wifi, good foods and best security are its key features. Hostels are available as first come first serve basis facility.

Placement of this college iss too good. When you come in 3rd you will be eligible for the placement drive. Companies like tcs, mnc, infoysis these are the come come in placement. Highest package of the university is 40 lpa and average placement is 8 lpa. 75% students got their dream job.

Pandit Deendayal Energy University

I was also approved for EC course in Nirma University College. I chose PDEU over Nirma primarily because it provided with a better course(ICT). I was not rejected by any colleges. I applied in LJ were I got CS course, In Nirma i got EC course and In PDEU I got ICT. I opted for PDEU as I found ICT more fascinating.
