Remarks

CET seat was allotted in Kvg so I had to go there. To take this course my dad had said so I took this course as it had scope. As there was no option I had to agree for doing engineering in computer science at Kvg college.

Course Curriculum Overview

It's good bt the classrooms are not good. The online classes these days are not done properly. That's the only problem regarding our college except that there they put lot of fine which is difficult for us to pay. That's all.

As I had heard it's not too good. But I don't know what happens by the time I go through it . But I pray to god that I have to get a good placement from which I may get good job in a well known company.

As I had only 1 sem rest I did in online I didn't get many festival or activities. But the activities done these days wer really awesome. As it was a new experience for me in that college I really enjoyed it very much.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I don't know anything about it. As I did not applied for loan but im planning to apply loan as I hav backlogs I have to clear to apply for that due to this lockdown I'm not able to clear that for which I'm facing problem.

Campus Life

It's good. As it is difficult for anyone to locate the classrooms because everything looks similar and there are many ways to go to a class and the labs are separate with the respective departments so it's easy to contact lectures.

Good College with Supportive Faculty and Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Good learning experience with Decent Internships opportunities

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

The college environment is good.
