Heartfelt review of University of Jammu

The admission process is very simple. Candidate has to apply online at the university website than have to wait for the selection list. Admission process starts in June-July every year which is being delayed this year due to covid19. If his/her marks are above 60 percent, the candidate shall be selected easily. College campus is first class. A huge number of courses are here. Faculty members are efficient and very helping nature. You can access any info regarding university on official websites of the University of Jammu. This university is A+ NAAC accredited university.

When we talk abt courses there are unlimited in numbers. You can opt science, Non-medical, Humanities (Arts), commerce, technical courses, diploma courses, certificate courses in different fields including industrial, agricultural, behavioural, psychological, biological, religious, cultural etc. And having effective method of teaching. University conducts exams on time by following the academic calendar. In CBCS system it took 5-6 months for every semester. I opt for a BA in Political Science, History, Economics and Urdu. I choose this course bcoz I wanna prepare for UPSC CSE. Faculty is very good. All staff members are highly educated. Most of them do their PhD, NET JRF. The paper level is too good.

As I have mentioned above I am preparing for CSE I don't need placement. But anyone can get placement becoz university educational standard is very well.

The fee is affordable which is being refunded in the form of scholarship (Pahari speaking which is only for locals).

All are very good but all of it depends on the cooperation of students. College Library is a thing which I will rate 5 out of five. Classes room are having a conducive environment. For games and Sports grounds, equipment and faculty are also available. Intercollege and intracollege competitions are conducted every year.

I didn't need a hostel that's why I can't say anything about hostel life. My friends stayed there who told me that hostel is also good.
