Remarks

I choose this college because of two main reasons. I am born and raised in Jaipur. I am from SC category so I can get scholarship form government of India. The third reason is that nobody in my family has seen a 5-star hotel so I decided that I have to do something different from others. So I crossed this course and college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because it's totally different from other courses and nobody in my family did this course till now so I choose this course. There is 1 teacher in every 30 students. Teachers are well qualified they speak English very well and the knowledge about the related subject is so much. After every 3 months, the exams are held and it's very easy to pass the examination Includes of both examinations (mid-term and end-term).

Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Placement Experience

We have campus placements from our college many of our seniors have got hired as employees in many 5 star hotels like TAJ, OBEROI, ITC brands. Average package is 15,000 and the highest package is 25,000. 70% of students are getting placements from my college. I need to do a job after my degree course.

Fees and Financial Aid

We need to submit the fees in 2 instalments for each year. The cost of the study is around 3,50,000 in a government college. The students of reserve category have scholarship form central government and Rajasthan government.

Campus Life

The annual fest Is named UMANG FESTIVAL this festival is held in October month. Required books and journals are available at every time in the college library. We organise a play on 2nd October (Gandhi Jayanti) like Nukkad Natak. We have IHM notes group on telegram and a website for IHM notes and we have WhatsApp groups for our further studies.

Placement Experience:

•In our college, students become eligible for campus placement and interview from the fourth to fifth semester. • I have a hotel management course, but not in companies, but in hotels, restaurants, resorts and here I get admission in the best 5 and 7 star hotels in both India and abroad. •If I talk about percentage, then out of every 10 children, 7-8 get campus placement. •My plans after getting a degree are some new startups but before that I need some experience so I will choose campus placement .

Placement Experience:

Ihm jaipur has a very good college placements record mostly every year around 70-75 percent students get the job. Although they are not high paying but it's okay. I myself got a job at puma for 3.35lac pa which was alright for beginning.

Placement Experience:

The college provides 100% Placement Assistance to any desired hotel or property. It has its own 14 ventures where it can place the graduates. All ventures are 5-star properties. We are allowed to go for training in the 3rd year either 5th or 6th semester. Throughout the course, DSHM makes us eligible to qualify for interviews. We have been taken to Showgrounds of various 5-star properties like Marriot, Hilton, The Chomu Palace, etc. Approximately 3-5 lakhs p.a packages are given to the students and students pursuing their career abroad get even more high packages. Almost 100 per cent of students get the placement depending on their abilities to qualify for interviews. My plans after getting the degree are to try abroad as we get more opportunities and simply say more money is in abroad. Hospitality is the vastest and fastest-growing industry.

I had applied for Du and ihm jaipur both but I was much interested in hotel management which was the main reason for my joining ihm jaipur. For being a part of this IHM colleges we need or crack the hotel management exam i.e. NCHMCT exam. After clearing the exam we have 2 rounds for college selection where we have counseling sessions which included our preferences of the college and if in the rounds we get a preferable college on the basis of our rank, if we are interested in that college, we need to pay 40000 to lock our admission and send basic documents. After joining the college, we have to rst of the fees. For admission in IHM, we need minimum marks to 50% in 12th, and the age limit for this course is below 25 yrs....Read More
