Remarks

I was looking for a college with better placements and having a great campus, I've searched a lot on google and asked my elders. They told me about MGM's JNEC. The best thing about this college is the campus. It is awarded by the most prestigious college in the Marathwada region and also provides the best placement in companies like TCS, Infosys, Flipkart, etc. the college has its own stadium and if you are a sports person then you are going to shine here, The annual event organized by college takes place in march which is known as Razzmatazz. The admission process is very easy one you have to confirm your CAP round seat acceptance letter at GECA then bring your original documents with the fees and you are done. The best thing is you can avail for education loan during the admission process, the fees I've paid was about 96000 out of which 10000 is refundable after 4th year, The main fees was 86000 during our time but now it's gone near about 123000 because of MGM is now MGM university.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

My interest was in Electronics since childhood so that's why I chose this course In JNEC the most relaxing departments are EnTC and Mech, Where teachers don't give you much headache for presentations, submissions and for other activities, the most irritating department is CSE where faculty members are so strict that they can't even tolerate a single lecture bunk or common off. If we talk about teaching at my dept EnTC (known an ECT there) I would say 8/10 because they have every single lab there and a lot of helping teachers, faculty members at my dept are not just stuck to the syllabus they constantly providing instructions about extracurricular activities such as professional workshops like AI, Robotics etc. The college has its own Centre of excellence where students have the opportunity to show their talent in project work. If you are studying regularly then exam is not a problem for you its very easy and teachers also provide question bank etc.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Actually, the college doesn't offer you internship directly, you have to take it in an indirect way, Some faculty members have their contacts at internship providing companies so they can help you for getting the internship. I've Done my internship at dhoot transmission there the provided me with the stipend of 11000 per month and a one time meal, I came to know about this internship by our HOD sir. So in this way you can try.

Placement Experience

4

okay so placement is the main highlight of this college in your 4 weeks career you will come to learn a lot of things apart from your course and that will help you to engage yourself with the visiting companies. during my academic years, I noticed my seniors getting placed in big companies like TCS, Infosys, Flipkart, Tech Mahindra, Wipro etc. the average package provided is near about 3 to 5 lakh. As soon as you enter 3rd year you start getting emails and notifications about placement activities of your course. Some students get placed in their 7th sem it's totally up to you how you take seriously to get placed in campus drive. The minimum criteria for applying for aptitude is your CGPA must be above 7.

Fees and Financial Aid

fees structure is as given bellow tuition fees:- 76000 rs development fees:- 10000 rs journals:- may vary according to course 700-1200 rs Yes they provide scholarship to all categories accept OPEN but if you come under EBC criteria then you can apply for EBC Scholarship which half of your fees I wasn't applicable for any of them so I paid full fees

Campus Life

5

The best thing in this college is campus life, there are more than 4 canteens in the college where you can hang out with your friends, great fountains and gardens to study The annual fest is Razzmatazz which is the biggest gathering is Marathwada it's total 4-5 days event consisting 1. departmental activities 2. dance, singing, acting, personality contest, treasure hunt 3. sports 4. DJ night with the new theme each year. in JNEC they having 2 large seminar halls and 1 full luxury auditorium with great sound system There are some hobby clubs created by seniors like 1. photography club ( pratibimb ) I am also part of this club 2. music club 3. dance clubs 4. poetry club 5. astronomy club and last but not the least 6. NSS NSS and pratibimb these two clubs are most active clubs in JNEC.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.
