Remarks

Campus is not that interesting but teaching quality is good so I'm advising you do not take saboo siddik College until and unless you didn't get any college for engineering

Course Curriculum Overview

Because I have interest in electronics since my childhood so I choose that branch. Teaching quality is good in college , to get 32 marks in engineering is very easy you have to refer past year question papers.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 11700 per year

Since due to pandemic no one companies are coming in college for Placements but there are some companies they take all students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for engineering colleges is almost same ie 117000 but if you are going in private or autonomous colleges then fee would be 300000.

Campus Life

In my college I didn't enjoy my annual fest and tech fest I word in tech fest but I didn't enjoy it. But I spent a great time in sports.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules.
