Remarks

Veltech is among the top colleges in Chennai. I was looking for engineering colleges in Chennai, and I came to know about Veltech through Google. Firstly I made a visit to the college and really loved it, So, in next visit, got admission in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty are very helpful to us while studying or doing projects and the faculty members are qualified and well knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The courses curriculum is relevant and it makes the students ready for industry. This is one of the best institute.

Placement Experience

4.5

85% of the students are getting placed in placements. The highest salary is 12LPA and the lowest salary is 3.6LPA and average salary is 6LPA. Recruitment companies are Accenture, TCS, BYJUS, Nokia, Capgemini. 40% of students got internship in Nokia company and so many students have got internship in foreign countries like Taiwan, Canada, Switzerland.

College Events

There are several College clubs which organise many activities every week. All the students take part enthusiastically. There are many fests organised by different departments. The college has a very good environment.

Campus Life

Our university provides high equipment in the labs so that it may help to do the research if we need to do. It provides Wi-Fi facility for 24 hours. We can use it, and there is no limit. Medical facilities in the hostel and university are provided by Apollo hospitals.

College with good environment, teaching and placements

Placement Experience:

On doing 6th semester companys are coming for placements. But most of the companys come in the 7th semester. There is a lot of companies come here like Embedur, Honeywell,Caterpillar,Zoho,Tcs, Accenture,Hcl,Ltimindtree,Cts,etc.. Around 75-85 percentage of students got offer. The Highest package is 20lpa amd lowest is 3.36lpa. I have to go to IT company for work.

About My University

Course Curriculum Overview:

I influenced by my friends who joined in this course ,later on I adjusted with it ,the curriculum prepares students in which they are capable to understand in their own way with which they build up projects and expos and many more events conducted by the other collages to participate in it. It is a tough situation to deal with it because the minimal gap between the sessionals is 1.5 month so for students it a stress to cover the syllabus of all subjects and with project works etc.
