Remarks

Symbiosis has a great Brand Value- it is famous in India and even internationally. it has great infrastructure with all sports facilities. It has a great campus. the course provided is pretty unique as not many universities provide BSC in economics.it has many placements opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good but not much updated. It provides a lot of knowledge about both Indian and international economics. We have to do regular internships which is part of our college curriculum.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 625000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement cell is pretty active but the job opportunities are not that great. We have very limited companies that visit our campus. Very few students only get placements.

We have many college events like the Annual fest equilibria which is very famous in Pune and neighbouring cities. Our Economist of the year event is also extremely famous. We students from pan India.

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course 8/10 aa course is highly good for me and i chose this field because of the respect it have our curriculum is good only as first 2 years we have BLS subjects then we have law subjects after that. As it is an integrated course it surely serves the purpose and makes you ready for real-life field only but as we have 75-25 pattern it gets hard to write that much in the examination in that much hour also we have to prepare for internals alot then assignment costs alot of time and make the whole study schedule hectic

just money making college

Remarks:

The college management was just running an money collecting machine. there were no payments to the staff. every year most of the staff would resign and they would apply new staff. not only the staff even the principle was changed in last 5 years the college had gotten 5 principles. the college had also not refunded the deposit amount which the had taken from each students during the admission time.

I chose SSE over JGU without a doubt and have no regrets about the same. The course in JGU was new and interesting. I quite liked it but personally economics and "Symbiosis" appealed more to me. I applied for du but didn't do well in cuet.
