Its one of the best college offering BPT under NTRUHS. i have visited other ones in vijayawada and guntur too. The infrastructure is way above a BPT college here. The teaching staff will be of medical college and we have all the labs and extra curricular activities. We had clinical rounds from 3rd year itself. The other college ive visited showed none of these.showed in the sense they dont have these facilities. I have completed my internship too at the same hospital. Even though its is named as SIPR, its part of the GSL medical college and u get to experience all of it.

The curriculum is constantly updated and we have state of the art simulation lab to explore the nuances of the profession. We are exposed to patients and hospital rounds from 3rd year itself. Since being attached to a general hospital with formidable presence in and around the district itself, we are constantly be able to gain knowledge from the different and vast spectrum of disabilities and diseases that pertain to our profession. Kiran Prakash teaches us Neurological Physiotherapy and his knowledge is topnotch.

since ours is a medical college, there are no placements right now. So we have to create our own opportunities and create our own jobs. Many of my college alumni are well settled. Alumni network will be very supportive of offering any jobs if u are connected enough.

the campus life is ever buzzing. Its full of life and activities all year round. Beside the annual college fest, which will be held along with all the streams i.e, MBBS, BDS, BPT, NURSING, PARAMEDICAL COURSES, we have semi Christmas celebrations as the number of Christians is relatively high with nursing students, sankranthi celebrations, and some other religious festivals. Coming to our own, the college helds Physiocon every other year, we are encouraged to attend other physio conferences conducted with various colleges and universities. In my time there i have attended atleast one physio conference other than our own every year.

hostel rooms are triple sharing with common bathrooms for some floors and attached on others. PGs are available just outside college with food and lodging for around 3000pm. The food at hostel is horrible. But with pg u can gulp down without complaints for a while.
