Remarks

They were providing me the best option in my budget and preferred location. Also i talked to few alumini they said it's good. Plus when i went to visit the university it had a good campus and facilities for students. I talked to some faculties there. They were friendly and cooperative.

Course Curriculum Overview

Up to industries standards. All we needed to know in journalism was taught to us. Not only that faculties ysed to give more practical assignments for better understanding of the subject. They were always ready to help us.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 76000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I did internship in sharda university as a assistant in administration. For 3 months i got 36000 for three months.

Placement Experience

I was in journalism and mass communications. Here the placement is based on the skill we learnt in the college. Also many journalists and top people from industry kept visiting us showcasing the patway on how to pursue our goal. After graduation teacher would give you links about companies you can go and interview for.

College Events

There is always an event going on with different departments taking part in it. The college has a cultural societ of dance, music, drama, fashion and literary club. The fest of college is chorus. In chorus we had a festival of 3 days. A festival or fest we call it had dj night, many fun events and inter college competitions.

Campus Life

The hostels were nice. Rooms were decent with individual lavatories. The campus had a football field, A cricket field, few basket ball courts, badminton courts, a chess club. Where any student can go and play. The campus is WIFI enabled and you'll get signals all around the campus. Campus also has a libraries for different course where you'll get any book related or non related to your course, the science computer and english lab have all the equipment and and the quality of equipment is also good. The campus had many cafeterias and also shops for daily uses and stationary inside only. All in all the campus of sharda university was very good and a student friendly.

Placement Experience:

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

Galgotias University is Greatest!

Placement Experience:

No companies as here only lawyers of arbitration and other domains come to hire students. Most students though have PPO from their interning companies but not real 10-20 LPA placements for Galgotias and that i wish change because our university academics and the kind of learning that is provided is at par with that of NLUs.

Placement Experience:

Placement in this university is average not so good. Many companies visit here. And students get placed. And avg package is around 2.5 to 3 Lpa in bioscience department and in other departments it varies.

GLA University Mathura is a marvel!

Placement Experience:

Packages aren't as good or big as NLUs as 4-5 lakhs is median and just 25% students gets placements from University. Most students though go for litigation and I am also going to do the same as this is how I want to build my career and take it forward. Even LLM is also an option and GLA University is the one from where I will do, if I plan to do masters.

GLA University Mathura is Great!

Placement Experience:

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. After degrre want to build a strong carrer and to contribute in the grouth of Bharat.

Economics Honours at Amity University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall curriculum was good that they make proper schedules of classes and all but there was something lacking is that sometimes the professor was absent and we wasn't aware about that and sitting in that class without knowing they should inform us or make a proper arrangement for replacing of class with other teacher and also there was lacking of technology in studies I didn't remember how many times they used the projector for proper teaching.

Sharda University - The world isn't here and you shouldn't be either

I wasn't planning to stay here. Sharda University is an institution which, outside of Sharda, is known for "hariyali" which is simply a misogynist and perverted way of referring to rich party girls that tend to do humanities courses here. My university is Among seven prestigious institutions in India and provides great opportunity to students in both knowledge and practical life skills.
