Remarks

Good crowd as in the people who came to study had a lot of variety, location of the college which was easily accessible, quality of education, facilities available in campus, we'll trained faculty, extra curricular activities, etc

Course Curriculum Overview

Really good syllabus and subjects which really gave good exposure to all the aspects of management, good and experienced faculties who were ready to help me with any doubts that I had, good industrial exposure

Placement Experience

Haven't really gone for placements yet since I'm only in my second year but the facility and the team incharge is very capable and experienced and skilled.

Really AMAZING experience till now which thought me a lot and also helped me meet a lot of genuine people and had the opportunity to work with them conducting various events in and out successfully without any mishaps.

Campus Life

The campus infrastructure is pretty decent. We have a huge ground, wifi in the whole campus, really well equipped Library with digital integration as well which is very unique, well structured labs which really helps in academics

The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.

My college is well known for its co-curriculum. The whole 10 days one day we have Garba other day we have dandiya we have singing competition, dancing competitions. We have a DJ night we have sports conducted on Ganesh festival. Symbiosis: a zig zag experience

I chose Symbiosis because it offered International Business which is of my keen interest. When I contacted other colleges and enquired about this course, they said they don't have this course or some said "we're not sure". I mean how can they be not sure of their own curriculum? And I applied only to SYMBIOSIS. Now I'm in my final year and dual specializing in International Business and Marketing. For the admission process, firstly fill the application form and then they'll also conduct a mock test when main entrance exam is around a month away or smtg. And then Symbiosis Entrance EXAM (SET EXAM) happens. After qualifying that,the student is shortlisted to WAT (written assessment test). It's like an essay writing test, you will be given a topic and 20mins of time. Lastly it's the PI (personal interview) and then merit list or not depends on student performance....Read More
