Remarks

I like programming so I chose the computer science and engineering branch in this great college of Gorakhpur, where placement is better than all other branches. A lot of events and fests are held every year. We have a better interaction between juniors and seniors and alumni. There is very good support from alumni. Also, I would like to mention that this college is in my home town, So I gave preference to this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Not all but few teachers on campus are helpful. All the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, but nearly 10% of them are not much knowledgeable. Except for some teachers, all teach interactively with students, the same as all other colleges. The course curriculum is relevant, and also it makes students industry-ready.

Placement Experience

More than 90% of the students get placed in the computer science and engineering branch. The highest salary package offered in our college is 38 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. More than 50% of the students got internships from college.

College Events

The university has a campus area of 400 acres. The gender ratio is about 1:15. Good labs are available in our branch and are air-conditioned. Wi-Fi facility is also good but sometimes it does not run properly. Classrooms are well-furnished. The library is also very good and air-conditioned but new edition books are not available. Hostel facility is also average. The main fests are from societies Saturnalia, Frosh, Orion. Annual fest is Saturnalia, in this, we have people coming for standup comedies, music night, dance competition, etc. The Annual techno fest is Orion.

Our curriculum gets better from this year as so many changes occur due to college become autonomous Like a better coding platform bought by college for student i.e. CODETANTRA and some subjects of 2nd year introduced in the 1st year like COLD and DSTL , Promoting students to participate in Hackathon by mailing to the students about each and every big or small hackathon .
