Remarks

Close to my home, reputed, ranked well in the BBA colleges list, architecture is good, facilities are good, faculty is well trained, student life is vibrant and active, generous dress code, well-connected.

Course Curriculum Overview

Very updated curriculum with one major change every year. Academics focuses a lot on experiential learning with mandatory internships in Year 2. Faculty is well-trained and qualified. Emphasis given on research and hands-on learning.

Class Size: 372Course Fees: INR 850000 per year

Placement Experience

Opportunities are plenty, recruiters like KPMG, Deloitte and EY frequent our campus multiple times. No experience with the placement process yet. No experience with alumni references for a job yet. No knowledge about any famous start up.

College Events

Campus Life is great. Extracurricular activities are held by student led clubs, which is a great exposure opportunity. One cultural fest is held called Sympulse, festival value is approx 1.2 crores with a footfall of 50k over the course of a week.

Campus Life

Classrooms are well designed, there is a decently sized ground for sports, sports equipment is available, Wi-Fi was upgraded recently to JioFiber, library is constrained to a small space but a decent amount of books are available.

Why I Chose PCCOE: A Student’s Perspective on Academics and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

For 5th semester students become eligible for internship (stipend based)...And from 7th semester for placements. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra – for software roles Larsen & Toubro, Honeywell, Siemens, KPIT, Bosch, Persistent Systems – for core engineering roles (ENTC, Mechanical, IT) Other startups & IT product companies also visit for internships and full-time offers. Highest Package: Around ?24–28 LPA (mainly for CSE/IT students in product-based companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS iON, etc.) Average Package: Around ?4.5–6 LPA for core and IT companies, and ?3.5–5 LPA for ENTC students. Each year, over 90% of CSE/IT/ENTC students get placed. Branch-specific placements may vary: CSE usually sees 95–98% placements, ENTC around 85–90%, and other branches slightly lower. The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

Placement Experience:

our college has motorsports clubs so if you are in those clubs you will get very high reputation while the placements. one concern you have to consider is that the will have total 3 campus for the placement drives so the crowd is very high.

College has placement but mostly they are statups but there is no such big company who take part in placment drive. The student should be in 2nd year of diploma and 4th year in phamarcy. The highest package is 400000 and avg is of 100000.

My college is well known for its co-curriculum. It conducts different different competitions for students for example:- 1) Debate competition 2) Postermaking competition 3) Slogan making competition 4) Paper presentation competition 5) Research based activity And many more Our college also conduct Ganesh festival And celebrate the festival. The whole 10 days one day we have Garba other day we have dandiya we have singing competition, dancing competitions. We have a DJ night we have sports conducted on Ganesh festival. Sports includes football, basketball volleyball, relay athletics, cricket. Our college also celebrate their own fest Which includes fashion show dances of each Batches, singing, competition, drama, DJ night and sports indoor and outdoor Booth

Symbiosis: a zig zag experience

I chose Symbiosis because it offered International Business which is of my keen interest. When I contacted other colleges and enquired about this course, they said they don't have this course or some said "we're not sure". I mean how can they be not sure of their own curriculum? And I applied only to SYMBIOSIS. Now I'm in my final year and dual specializing in International Business and Marketing. For the admission process, firstly fill the application form and then they'll also conduct a mock test when main entrance exam is around a month away or smtg. And then Symbiosis Entrance EXAM (SET EXAM) happens. After qualifying that,the student is shortlisted to WAT (written assessment test). It's like an essay writing test, you will be given a topic and 20mins of time. Lastly it's the PI (personal interview) and then merit list or not depends on student performance....Read More
