Remarks

I choose this college because this is the best private engineering college in Jharkhand and its placement is quite well. Its environment is also good and my parents choose this college because it is nearer to my house and does not take much time to reach there

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus is updated now. The facilities are quite well,they clear all the doubts.If we don't understand any topic then they taught us again and if any faculty was not able to clear concepts then they were replaced by some good faculty member

Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Placement Experience

I don't know about this very much. Some companies are BYJU's,syscom,SKYLA,wipro,Teqfocus,AVO Electropower,Extramarks

College Events

Campus is good but if you want to bunk the classes the authorities may take strict action against you. In December sports function were organised every year and almost all tha students participate in games like badminton,vollyball, basketball,etc.

A Real Student Experience at DEC

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is okay and the basics are covered well, which is one reason I choose this branch, but some subjects feel outdated and not fully connected to real industry work. It prepare us for further studies more than practical jobs. Exams come every semester with internals in between, difficulty is moderate but few papers become tricky. I think more practical topics, updated labs and better teaching methods will make the curriculum more useful...

Inside my college -gp latehar

Placement Experience:

In my college the placement system is not very strong because no big companies actually visit our campus. Students become eligible from 5th semester but still there is no regular campus drive. Sometimes small local garages or workshops come but they dont offer proper package, mostly they give training type work with very low salary. So there is nothing like highest or average package in my college, and only around 5–10% students manage to get some kind of job through their own contacts or relatives. Most of the students prefer to go for B.Tech or prepare for govt exams after diploma because campus placement is almost not there. My plan after completing the course is also to study further and look for better opportunities outside, since my college does not provide strong placement support. Overall placement in my college is weak and needs lot good improvement but the vishal sir is very good to get job for for others

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

One of my colleges best features is its placements program, which offers fantastic chances for students to launch their carrers. In the fifth and sixth semesters, students are prepared with aptitude training sessions, group discussions, and resume construction. About 85% of qualified pupils were placed during the previoes school year. Compared to core engieering fields, placements rates were marginally higher in IT branches.

The admission process was offline. forms has to be filled up which cost 1000rs as registration. application form is available on the main building of the college in 2nd floor. There was no minimum marks for admission we only need to qualify 12th. Admission was taken through councelling of jharkhand combined exam and jcece. We had been called according to our rank in jcece exam. We had been called on different days and different tome slots. At that process we were asked to choose our preference of colleges.
