Remarks

Because i always wanted to complete graduation in Science and had an carrier that would help me to presue my carrier as a great science student. The college environment is very nice. The teachers are really good at teaching they had great experience of teaching. However the non teaching staff is bit rude and clumsy. They barely listen to you especially the staff from Arts stream.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is hard to earn marks in acedics unless you use ten year solved papers they will definitly help you to score more than average. Curriculum activities are engaged in college and they are fun. They also provide SC concession and minority concession to the particular students.

We naver had any oppurtunity to beget placed at any renowned company. Neither of the enterpreneurs shows up at the college nor we got a chance to do a job a. nd earn our living. There were no placement departent at all.

College Events

The campus life is awesome. Nobody forces you to attend classes unless you are a post graduate students. Even they are free early if there is no practical lab work. Extracurricular activities are engaged and they are always fun.

Brief About NITJ

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in their final year (7th semester). only a few companies made no offers. I can recall only 1 name Nation with NAMO. highest package in Civil branch was 14LPA. Average is 6LPA. for all branches highest was 42LPA with average 12 LPA. placement % is 60-80 among all branches which is improving every year. I am planning for higher education.

My course that is bsc in artificial intelligence and data science is quite demanding and I think this is the only field which is growing faster. Another reason for choosing this was I had huge interest in this field. But faculty,their teaching way and syllabus is too way less as compared to course. They focus more on their rather than the practical work but in this field practical work is more important than theory as theory plays no role in this field . They must reduce the number of mid sem exams conducted and focus more on making students better in practical work. After the starting of semester, just after 25 days when syllabus not even completed as the 1st unit.. they shout spreading the news of exams. We just got too busy in exams which make us feel distracted from our real work .

Cource curriculum relevant. Provide with practical and theoretical knowledge. But needs some improvement with the teaching method. That is need of some projector in the classrooms. True experience of a SLIET Student

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I was interested in Robotics and my parents wanted me to take a core branch. The curriculum is not very relevant but some topics are good and related like modern welding technologies and manufacturing techniques. I think our college curriculum needs to be updated where more new world technologies like AR and VRs should be taught with advance robotics. Teaching methods used are classical I think professors should try to use smart classrooms to visualise the concept to make it better understandable. Exams are moderate level but I think our college needs to reduce exam frequency although we have time but due to exams nearly every month it doesn't feel good.
