Remarks

Journalism and mass communication is the flagship course offered by Jagran Lakecity University. The university has a very nice infrastructure and the studios are undoubtedly the best. One of the best things is that you can converse with the faculty at any time without hesitation.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is amazing and they sure provided us industrial exposure. They took us to various newspaper industries. There were many times when we were given opportunities to meet different industrial experts also. The university took us to the Filmfare Fest also where we met Jacqueline Fernandez.

Placement Experience

The placements and job opportunities after completing the graduation from JLU are amazing. They are in collaboration with many big universities and institutions like the London School of Journalism.

College Events

Jagran Lakecity University sure does innumerable technical, cultural, and management festivals. It organises events like Master Clicks every year to showcase photographs captured by different children and bring out their hidden talent. It has a number of clubs ranging from cultural to adventure to literary and photography.

Fees and Financial Aid

I had done by schooling from Delhi Public School, Bhopal and I scored 92.6% in class 12th CBSE so I had got 100% relaxation on the tuition fees.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is beyond amazing. The greenery in the university can lighten up anyone’s mood. The equipments used in the labs and studios are up to date and the teachers regularly keep a check on them and get them repaired, if they are damaged. There is a football court in the university which is very big and pretty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course and curriculum we followed was of RGPV (Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya) which is outdated and was not in relevance with nowadays advanced technologies which was a demerit of this college.

Placement Experience:

Sunstone is planning placement for us as they promised a lest placement of 4lpa or more from the extra courses they are running and training is and also provides chances to sit in multiple interviews of companies. Companies like appzeto , even digit, Lancesoft many students git placement of 7lpa. After degree if I can get placement from sunstone sage I will get it or try to crack off campus placement.

placement is good 60% to 70% chance there for getting the average package from 3 year students are ready for palcements and internship depending on your skill and academic performance companies mainly comes in it sector like infosys ,tcs, wpro, capgemini, cognizant,deloitte ,cico etc and many more highest is 48 lpa and average around 3 to 6 lpa for more you have to fight off campus placement as i am pursuing bca if i get a good job no matter on camus or off campus i'll stick to it get a experience if not got a good placement then mca from better colleges

There is campus placement for MBA students but not for BBA students if anyone wishes to get placed after BBA the college assits them with off campus placement. The average package ranges for from 3 to 5 lakhs and the highest can go upto 10.. almost everybody in the course get placed and record 90% placement.

Good but not Bad

Placement Experience:

From the 4th semester student can apply for internships and for placement student should be in 5th semester of his or her college life. There's very difficulties in getting placed by the company because few of the company comes to college and very fewer gets placed. So student must develop the skills on their own and apply for off campus selection. More than 8.5 cgpa for average package and more than 9 cgpa is required for a good company... I'm planning to give upsc exams after graduation

Placement Experience:

Not much helpful in terms of placements.not very big MNC companies visit there and average packages are not much high the faculty will not guide you about placements you have to prepare on your own and apply for offline placements.

From the 7th or 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. there are too many it companies visited here like TCS Infosys etc. The highest package in this college is 8lpa. From my point of view, this college is not suitable for good campus placement.

Amazing Experience

Admission:

I passed my 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as my subjects. After this, I applied for the course by filling out an application form, and admission was done on the basis of merit as per the availability of seats.

At JLU if you have deep pockets then you don't have to worry as fees is high and if you can pay that irrespective of your scores you can get admission here.
