Remarks

I was not choose this college after joint entrance exam I got this college by councilling. This course is fully arounded by politics and corruption. If any student come from any lawyer background or political background it is suitable for them.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course syllabus is good for the student. My college faculty is good. They are helpful, co-operative. Our college is under the Calcutta University so it follow Calcutta University rules. Our teachers are well educated. But Calcutta University law department fully arounded by politics.

Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience

This course is not give any placement after pass out you can choose any government job or field which base on the law like legislation, executive, law firm, practice, judiciary etc which you want you can choose.

Our college participate all competition which happen our college ground or others college ground under Calcutta University. Every year our college held annual function many events arrange for students, and invite others colleges for perticipate in this function and competition. Many seminar which helpful for the students future held by our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college not provide any scholarship but all the scholarship which provide by West Bengal government we get.

Campus Life

Our college campus is good but it is very far from my location. Its infrastructure is good but it fees structure is not good. My college fees is much from others college under Calcutta University. I am not prafer it's advance fees structure.

Placement Experience:

Calcutta University has an active placement cell that plays a crucial role in securing jobs for students. Companies like EXL, Genpact, Infosis regularly visit campus for requirement and the average package offered to students is around 6-6.5 LPA. I have plan, go for Ph. D. or some specialized courses after completing my M.Sc. course.

My college is the best college never ever forget it

Placement Experience:

For the placement, out of 60 students of my batch, 40 students were got placed from campus placement. TCS, CTS, WIPRO, Accenture, etc. all the big companies came for campusing. Overall good placement got from my college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose political science because I loved the subject. Nothing more. The faculty of political science consists of 5 professors and our class strength is 58. The faculty is well qualified and they will cover each and every topic for you. But in the online mode of teaching, you will surely face some difficulties communicating with the professors and the regularity of the class will decrease but in offline mode, you will not face these problems. There will be 1 mid sem exam and 1 final exam per semester. There will be assignments and attendance also carries some marks (In our case, 5 marks per paper). The exams are conducted regularly and they were not much difficult to pass. The faculty will help you as per your need to prepare for your exams.

Jyotirmoy School of Law, affiliated to the 'University of Calcutta' and registered by 'Bar Council of India'. Admission is taken by entrance examination of the University of Calcutta for five years B.A.LL.B course, and merit list is published after the examination. It takes almost three months to complete the procedure of admission from June to August. The campus is situated in a completely natural environment, lush greenery, and homely atmosphere especially the college canteen.
