Remarks

Govt Law College, Ernakulam is a prestigious institution in kerala. The college is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University and offers one of the best undergraduate course in kerala. Moreover the campus is a heritage site.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.Com, LLB is a very interesting undergraduate course. Its a combination of law and commerce. Furthermore moot court opportunities are available to students. The students are taught by highly qualified teachers.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 2500 per year

Internships Opportunities

As per rule, the student has to undergo an internship for not less than 20 weeks to carry out legal studies under non governmental organizations, trial advocates, judiciary, legislatures and parliament, law firms, conpanies etc.

Placement Experience

After completing this course one can appear for judicial servive examination. UPSC is another great option for law graduates. Legal advisors in MNCs, practice in criminal, civil or income tax as an advocate.

they do offer placements for both ug and pg. But For Pg Structured palcements are limited. For Pg students, especially in commerce and management placement oppartunites are offered. The students has to score highest grades and should be capable of any skills and has to showed up in academic skills are eligible for getting placements. Sometimes the federal banks and other service centres approached the college for placing the students. The students from our department are placed in companies like( Tata Consultancy services and Accenture) . I think the highest package and average packages are around 25000. After all, my plans are degree is to getting placed in any reputed companies and further more.

I didn't apply for any other colleges. I had scored 92nd rank in 2020 KLEE examination so I eventually got the college that I preferred. I chose this college for its faculty, library, and also for its history plus its near to my home. The admission process is really smooth.
