Course Curriculum Overview

Courses offered in our college are 5 year integrated B. Com LL. B, 3 year LL. B and LL. M. The undergraduate integrated programme offered by the college is a combination of Law and Commerce which enables a bright future to the students. The college has well experienced faculties with a great support and dedication.

The Law graduates have a wide variety of opportunities awaiting them. They can practice as an Advocate (civil or criminal) in the lower courts as well as high courts. They can also get opportunities in the corporate field as legal advisors and experts.

The College conducts Prestigious T. S Venkateshwaraiya Moot court Competition. Moreover, the college conducts a lot of seminars, conferences, national workshops and other law related programs. The campus helps in moulding innumerable capabilities in ourselves and shapes our soul and mind to become a good citizen and to the legal field.

Campus Life

The Moot Court in the Central Assembly Hall of our College is the hall of erstwhile Cochin Legislative Council which has a great archaeological importance. The Library of our college provides with immense and wide range of Law books and other articles subscribed with access to innumerous Online journals and sites.

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

From semester 5 the opportunity to get a job is out there. Many companies comes to interview and they swlect the apt ones. Sun, Mahendra etc are some of the companies i remember. The highesr package for freshers is like 15000 a month. There is a high percentage of students getting placements its 80-85%.My plan is to study masters.

I chose Bsc electronics, it has an attractive curriculum and some of them are influenced me in some way. The facilities are well-known about the curriculum preparing and all. The current curriculum is good but it needs some changes. Include more practicals is one of my suggestion. Teaching methods are good it doesn't need any change. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, so the college can't do anything in main exams but the college will complete all the portions before the exam date it is sure.

I didn't apply for any other colleges. I had scored 92nd rank in 2020 KLEE examination so I eventually got the college that I preferred. I chose this college for its faculty, library, and also for its history plus its near to my home. The admission process is really smooth. The eligibility for this course is that we have to pass Kerala law entrance examination. And if there is a good rank there we'll get admission in any 4 of the government colleges.
