Remarks

I have made so much of research on engineering colleges after getting entrance examination. From that I got this college, my first and second preference were two engineering colleges that is near to my hometown, my 3rd preference was this college because of the beauty of the campus from my opinion, campus life will be the most memorable and beautiful thing that happening in our life. so technically speaking I prefer this college because of the beauty of my college. hopefully I got so much supporting friends and faculties from my college

Course Curriculum Overview

we are having a revised syllabus, and that is so much helpful for us to study a manageable syllabus. b.tech is more focus on theory exams, i think we need more knowledge on practicals also. so it will more helpful for all branches coming to faculties, my college faculties are good. they are doing their best for the students

Our college placements job opportunities are good. infopark, TCS , 6D technologies, wipro, armia, IBM, EXPERIAN TECHNOLOGIES, BYJUS LEARNING APP, HEXAWARE TECHNOLOGIES etc. these are the companies approached by our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is fee waiver for SC/ST/OE. high ranking students also get fee waiver. and there are lot of scholarships available from government to the students like e grants etx

Campus Life

Sports facilities are okay, students are going for outdoor games etc. wifi is available for us in the lab only. library is having a bunch of reference books, but least no of stories,fictions and all that, I think equipment in labs of mechanical engineering is not much good, for computer science it's good.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is having 3 buildings for girls and 2 buildings in the campus for boys. and 3 more out of the campus. 1 room will share by 5 or 6 students. television, newspaper, dryer, washing machine, heater etc are available. approximately 4000 for a month.

Hostel Fee: INR 24000 per year

Im a passionate student architect. From childhood, I had this dream of becoming a creator. So I chose this course. There is a good ratio of faculty student ratio in the private colleges all over india. I'm not sure about the teaching method because this is more like a self learning course. Remarks:

The hostel and college infrastructure are a little poor compared to other colleges but it is expected with the minimal fees given. There are a lot of festivals and programs and a healthy political atmosphere. The non violent conflicts between the two opposing parties lead to good development in the college.

College Of Engineering Munnar Diaries

I applied to all government engineering colleges and government controlled engineering colleges in Kerala. In government controlled colleges, I gave first preference to the College of Engineering, Munnar. My KEAM rank was 31247. I didn't get allotments to any other government colleges because my rank was low. I got merit allotment in my college through the caste(OBC) quota. If our rank is less than 33000 in KEAM, you can definitely get merit allotment in the College of Engineering, Munnar. But one thing to remember is that there is only a small number of student intake. Age is not a problem. The admission process was super easy. Just went to college with an allotment slip and the required paperwork which is informed by CEE Kerala and remitted the fees. Tuition fee is 35000 per annum for merit seat and total including extras like association fee, art fee etc it became 55000 for the first year only....Read More
