The College in which I study brings off the best advocate to the society The reason why I joined Law college is because I love studying law, the factor that drove me to opt this college is a govt law college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus is well updated, yes we were provides enough moot court exposure, So cooperating. No thanks. Trust me, I have nothing more to say about the college in which I study. I hope everything goes well.

Actually as our college is a government college we are not provides much placement and job opportunities, but we go to a lawyers office for internships as a part of our curriculum and get to know about what happens in a court, and what are legal opportunities available to us etc.

College Events

It was just awesome, we had so much of fun. All the technical, cultural and managmental festivals are just tripping. We also have moot court competitions and those are awesome days, apart from that during various seminars we are even provided with delicious foods. Those were the days.

Hostel Facilities

It's clean, hospitality is damn good, Room mates are awesome, Hostel mates are annoying, but need to put up with them, Hostel Rooms are so neat and tidy, average rentals per month Is 2500 rupees. There are about 4 inmates in a single room, and btw, college is soo soo close to the hostel and it's in fact a blessing.

Placement Experience:

There is a good placement cell in RIT Kottayam. From the 6th semester onwards students got placement training and career guidance classes and there are various clubs to improve your aptitude and chances to get the job through placement. The major recruiters of the campus are Oracle, Microsoft, Allianz, MRF, IDBI Bank, Infosys IBM, TCS, VVDN, WIPRO, Suntec EXPERION etc. There is about 75 % of students get placed every year. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

Remarks:

The hostel and college infrastructure are a little poor compared to other colleges but it is expected with the minimal fees given. There are a lot of festivals and programs and a healthy political atmosphere. The non violent conflicts between the two opposing parties lead to good development in the college.

Honest college review

I didn't apply for any other colleges. I had scored 92nd rank in 2020 KLEE examination so I eventually got the college that I preferred. I chose this college for its faculty, library, and also for its history plus its near to my home. The admission process is really smooth. The eligibility for this course is that we have to pass Kerala law entrance examination. And if there is a good rank there we'll get admission in any 4 of the government colleges. Overall experience at GLC ernakulam

I wrote the KLEE entrance exam as required to get into any government law colleges in kerala, i had secured a all kerala rank of 40 hence i was sure i would get into my first choice college, there are 66 seats in glc ernakulam meaning if you score a rank within 66 you will 100% have your seat, apart from that the cutoff was around the rank of 350 this year, if reservations are counted the cutoff would be higher around 800. After klee results were published i went on to apply to govt law college ernakulam and i got in, the admission process was swift and was over in an hour or two, it consisted of a short interview session and payment of fees of one semester.
