Course Curriculum Overview
Electrical Course is a difficult course as far as scope of the job is concerned, curriculum is definitive by GTU but it doesn't cover the topics which are required for the industry and the software's like PLC,Scada. But GCET prepares you professionally for the objective to be accomplished, smooth academics are provided.faculties are very good and dedicated.
Placement Experience
Larsen & Toubro, Torrent, Siemens, Infosys , Adani, Cognizant, Super gas, TBEA, Coromandal are the major companies which come. Other local companies also do come. GCET placement department is hardworking and deterministic department working each and every corner to get every student placed. Around 300* students were placed last year.
College Events
Campus life is lively, and great amount of extracurricular activities are done. Many useful sessions for every department are conducted. Students are encouraged to attend the activities and extracurricular activities with passion and sheer determination.
Fees and Financial Aid
Mukhya mantri Swawlamban Yojana, I haven't applied for it but it is given to people having their income greater than 6 lac , this scholarship is provided by the government of gujarat
Campus Life
Sports facilities are well provided. There is a basketball ground. GCET regularly participates with different sports events. Wifi is never good in fact it's not at all good for the students. In fact it is not for students. Library is good but not readable. New equipment in laboratories are not bought frequently. But yes, GCET has the privilege of only one High voltage laboratory in Gujarat.
