Remarks

Postive remarks are the ones that i just mentioned above. Good infrastructure, good faculties and alumnis, cost effective fees etc. But one negative remark is the food. In hostle students face a really serious difficulty in food as its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Masters of hospital management is all about how do you run an complex organisation such as a hospital. The exam is divided in 3 portions, Internal exams holds 30%, assignments hold another 30% and External exam holds 40% of the results there are total 4 semesters each having 6 months duration.

Placement Experience

4

There are two internships in the curriculum. One is in the 3rd semester, which is for 2 months. And the other is in the last semester which is for six months. Students get placements opportunities in the third semester itself. Every year so many big corporate hospitals come to the university finding the suitable person for the job. And they never leave disappointed.

College Events

3.5

It is one of the biggest Universities of gujarat, so there are lots and lots of event celebrated each year. The most famous of all is The Youth fastival. It is celebrated for three days. There are so many events and games like quiz, singing, debate, drawing, clay compitition, speech etc. There are so many sports also like basketball, football, tennis, badminton, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are around 19000 for one semester, that adds upto 76000 for 2 years. Which is really not expensive given that its a masters degree. Hostel expanse and food is extra. But there are also other expenses as well, that are exams fees every semester, fees for NABH training which is 10,000.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am from general quota so no scholarship for me. But it is available for the SC/ST/OBC students. College tution fees/hostel fees/food bill, everything is covered under the scholarship. Which is why it becomes more affordable for students.

Campus Life

4

We have only computer lab in our department since we need only that, but there are so many other labs in other departments. In sports there are lots of grounds like basketball football tennis badminton cricket etc.

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel fees are also as minimum as 2500 per semester. For food students has to arrange tiffin services by themselves. hostel is really not that hood in infrastructure. The place is very spacious but it is very old construction and that is why its not very likable.

Alumni/Alumna

We are the eleventh batch of the course and all the alumnis of the institution are really helpful because they are the ones who come for placements from the organisation they are working for. So surely they give their college students a slight advantage over others.

Admission

I first had to fill out an online form and then courier it to the university with a bank draft worth rs 500/-. Then once the called me for entrance exam i went to Gandhinagar s. K. Patel college for the entrance exam. which was really somewhat difficult. After a few days results came and i was selected so i had then to go to university for document verification, once all of these completed i finally got admission.

Faculty

3

All the faculties in the department is very qualified and hard working. 4 professors have a PhD degree, one is a surgeon and the HOD has 17 years of experience in the management field. There are also two faculties who are persuing PhD as we speak. They all are devoted to their work.

International offers had the highest package of $150,297. 100% of opted students got placed in the last season. My plan includes working for an MNC for 5-10 years and setting up a Startup. The highest

Admission:

Admission is on the basis of ATMA exam scores followed by a basic round of counseling. The interview was lengthy, they grilled me on the topics from my graduation. But the management was pretty supportive throughout the admission process and counseling process. I opted for this college since it is closer to my house and my cousin has done graduation from here and speaks highly of the college.

Admission:

Students with at least 55% marks in graduation are eligible to apply for the MBA program. Though students also have to appear for the management level entrance exam like CAT/MAT/XAT exam. I applied with my GCET scores. Students will be evaluated on the basis of entrance scores and performance in the interview round.
