Remarks
Very first reason was that it was a government university. Second it was near my hometown. I liked the infrastructure but the reality is that the coarse, syllabus and faculty of B.tech need much improvement here. Some courses like BSc biotech amd microbiology and CS branch of B.tech do have good faculties but most of the other coarses need improvement.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course syllabus was not at all updated. No industrial exposure. Not all faculties were good. The number of faculty members was too less. The same teacher teaches different subjects. That's why the quality of education was poor.
Placement Experience
Very few company visited in my college. But the placement cell worked very well. The head of the placement cell of our college, the HOD of our department Mrs Rashi agarwal was responsible to share the details of all the companies offering pool campus placements in other colleges like MPGI, PSIT. We appeared for many companies by visiting these colleges. I got a pool college placement in Wipro from PSIT.
College Events
In my journey of 4 years we experienced very less number of events. As in 3rd year the annual technical and cultural event named Technospandan was cancelled. Evem the fresher party was cancelled. Just one event was there and that too cancelled. I participated actively whenever got a chance.I won different medals and certificates. And farewell was the last hope, which is also lost now.
Campus Life
Infrastructure was good. Wifi was there but not proper in all the departments. Library was big enough but not all books were available. Labs were bit better. Canteen was okay. Greenery was proper in my university.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I was sharing my hostel room with one girl. They are 2 seater rooms. To avail hostel rooms it was not that much easym They tend to say that rooms are not there even if rooms are vacant. You can get the good hostels only if you pay some extra money or have some contacts with authorities. It all depends on your luck. And if you applied too early then you can get the room faster. The mess was okay. But the sanitization need improvement.
