It's a prestigious college. It provides a wide platter of options. It has many events and activities as well. The campus is a beautiful place. The faculty is very experienced and prestigious. It ensures to build up a wonderful community and helps the students develop holistically. It also takes up an interdisciplinary approach which is very essential for the global world. It also has various clubs and societies that i can be a part of and explore the various aspects of my personality.
Course Curriculum Overview
The campus is a very beautiful place. The faculty is very engaging, approachable and experienced. The courses offered are very diverse and all encompassing, catering to the needs of each child. The courses include all disciplines - the sciences, economics, humanities, literature etc. there are also certain extracurricular courses that are offered which are very helpful. These courses mainly include performing arts and languages. The curriculum is more knowledge based. Students are required to read study materials and engage in active discussions in classes. It is the perfect university
Placement Experience
The placements and job opportunities are very good. Top complained from the banking sector approach the university.
College Events
From what I have heard from my seniors, the festivals held are marvellous. Different events and festivals are celebrated keeping in mind the diverse cultural differences. Halloween, onam, Navaratri, Bihu etc are some festivals prominently celebrated here.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, I received an 80% scholarship It was a waiver on tuition fee. The criteria was mostly need based, but merit was also a criteria to award this scholarship.
Campus Life
The campus is very huge. It includes residential halls as well. The classrooms are spacious and large enough. The mess lawns are also very enticing as well as endearing. There is a sports complex, a football ground, a basketball court and a swimming pool which ensures that students delve into sports as well.
Hostel Facilities
Residence is mandatory for all the students who apply. The hostels are very comfortable. There is a vast space only dedicated to housing. The dorms are very beautiful. It includes a bed, white board, cupboard, study table, etc among the many. There are about 30 rooms on one floor. Each room accommodates 2 people. There are common rooms where everyone can gather to chill out. There is a warden who ensures discipline.
