Remarks

The things which I like ok to take admission in this college is the security the security of our college is very very good excellent and the strictnes of the college is also good there is no ragging at all all and the campus is also spacious the infrastructure is good difficulty is hard working and friendly so that factors make me to choose this college which is a prestigious college of the city

courses BSc csm which is a professional kind of course and curriculum activities are also very good they are organised very well the cadmaxx is also good the faculty is well trained hardworking and friendly the course is futuristic and scoping

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities are very good and the primary action of our college is to provide best education so that they can build up skills and crack the exams and get placed in reputated companies

The campus life is very good the campus is spacious and events organised in the campus is also interesting and well organised the extra curricular activities are also held the participation of students are also in huge amount so that they can build up the skills and confidence in them by standing on the stage the management is also very good

The campus infrastructure is good sports activities and facilities are also very good and the Wi-Fi is also available the size of the library is huge and the staff of the books are also good and library is well maintained the stock of the books are enough and equipments in labs are also in good condition and new latest lab equipments are also available in the college

Solid Campus, Supportive Faculty and Predictable Academics

Placement Experience:

Students start becoming eligible for campus placements from the sixth semester, and that’s when most training sessions for aptitude, coding and soft skills also begin. The number of offers varies every year, but CSE-related branches usually get the highest share of opportunities. Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum “is well-planned … as per NMC (National Medical Commission) guidelines.” Practical classes are included daily alongside theory. “practicals are also included each day along with theory classes.” The AETCOM (Attitude, Ethics, Communication) component is explicitly mentioned, which is good because it shows attention to non-technical competencies. there are 4 levels of exams in a year — mid-terms, “send-ups,” etc. Some students feel the curriculum is stressful.

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.
