Remarks

Mutual friend referred me to my college. Since it had good infrastructure and good faculties I choose this college. They are more of academic oriented with very good placement offers with all leading companies.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is provided by vtu and it can be improved through practical guide, my college faculties are dedicated and committed, they give complete attention to each and every student. Academics is very good with timely internals to assist us for our final exams.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Placements are good, companies like cognizant, tech Mahindra, NTT DATA, TCS, Infosys, etc. Visit our college for placements regularly.

Campus Life is good in BGSIT, there are yearly events, and they give special attention to extracurricular activities. They organize event compitition regularly based on both extra curricular and technical activities.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is huge with lush green environment. With well equipped labs, placement rooms, huge ground with running track, volleyball, throw ball, tennis, kho kho, cricket court and a stadium.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Pgdm At JAGsom - My Honest Take

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester, We have our internship as IIP. The companies coming are namely, Blackrock, Oxane, Zepto, Informatica and more. The placements are going well for Marketing and Finance. The Highest package is 50lpa and median is 10lpa. But if you stay in top 10-20% in your batch you can get, 13-14lpa. The profiles offered are of management trainee, financial analyst, data analyst, etc. Around 60-70% of the batch gets placed, but cracking interviews for placements is in student's hand.

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

A good college for starting your new journey

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placement in their final years. The companies which comes for the placement are deloitte, goldmanSachs, amazon and many more reputed companies. And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.
