Remarks

Infrastructure is one of the main thing about our college. Also my brother took degree in mechanical engineering from the same college so It was more familiar for me.Also i couldn't write KEAM entrance exam so I had only a few colleges in option so since SNGCE was familiar and good I opted to study here.

Campus Life is good apart from curriculum we have good arts and sports clubs and also we conduct tech and arts everyyear with new ideas which helps students to build up themselves. On the whole everything about SNGCE is simply good

It is the best out of every hostels that I have seen. Everything is well and good about hostel too.the rooms the study room mess hall shuttle court we have all the facilities out there. SNGCE hostel is really good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Data Science is a rising field in computer science. It has lots of oppurtunities in todays world and easy compared to other fields, which made me choose data science. The curriculum consist of various computer programming languages including Python, R and so on which are vital in the field of data science. There are also experienced faculties for teaching of the programming languages. I personally felt that lab hours are not adequate and also the available hours are also not properly utitlised by some teachers. At the end of each semester we have exams and results are published soon as the exams are over, no lagging compared to other universitites.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

I applied to various colleges for the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. Other colleges such as FISAT, SCMS, and AdiShankara offered courses other than computer science and was also having high admission fees, compared to SNGCE. First, you have to pay a registration fee of 500 and book your seat for a specific subject, on the assurance of obtaining a good, reasonable mark in the 12th. Then, after the announcement of 12th result, we can fix the seat by paying the caution deposit of Rs 10000 for the desired subject. For the same, certain criteria should be passed: 1) The KEAM entrance exam, the student should have a reasonable rank, enabling him/her to obtain the seats more likely than others. 2) For the 12th, a reasonable mark should be obtained by the student to increase the likelihood of obtaining a seat....Read More
