Remarks

I have choose this university because it is the only university which provides domain specific specialized courses as my course is B. Tech Electrical Engineering branch. Almost my every friend has taken admission in this college. This college have most of the equipments which is needed for doing job in industries.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course curriculum was pretty thorough and informative. We got to know managerial skills, quantitative techniques and decision making among others. Our final percentage was calculated on the basis of internal assessment, external exams, projects. Faculties are very trustworthy. I think Juhi Chattoraj mam was good.

Class Size: 49Course Fees: INR 280000 per year

Placement Experience

We have visited many companies related to EE BRANCH. Faculties of our placement department are very hardworking, no startup by our batchmates till now.

College Events

The university understands the need of students to engage into activities beyond academics. Cultural programs were organised in every Saturday. Annual function was celebrated in our college, in that our faculties always encourage us to participate in those functions.

Campus Life

In our campus many sports facilities was there such as football, tennis, cricket, golf, volly ball, chess, Ludo etc. Yes wifi was available for both Teachers as well as for students. Size of library was great. Most of the equipments was there in labs for our practical training of EE branch.

Placement Experience:

Every year, good law firms from tier 1 and 2 classes and corporate companies take placements from our college. The students become eligible for placement from the 9th semester itself. In my batch, every student who registered for placement got placed in a law firm. I didn't opt for placement as I have other plans of doing a Master's further after my graduation.

Placement Experience:

To be honest placement scenario is not really good. One becomes eligible for placement in the final year. Companies like cognizant used to visit the college for mass recruitment but after covid even they are not visiting. But few startups visit every year. The highest package this year was 12 lpa ctc. And avg 6 lpa. Only 30 percent get placement. My plan is to do M TECH.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester we can sit in interviews but the companies are far too less, like in last year only 6 companies came to campus at all, with an average package of ?3,00,000 and about 15 students got placed from Entire BTech, like 15 out of 500 students that too for sales roles

Honest Review of BIT Durg by a student

This is a reputed college in Chhattisgarh, and maybe that's why I chose this college. One can get into it by giving either JEE Mains or CGPET. Cut-off for JEE Mains isn't really high here, 75 percentile can easily land you here with computer science branch. I don't really know much about the JEE Mains cut-off.
