Remarks

The infrastructure of this university's, and better syllabus than Lucknow University in BCA. It is okayish College. You can leave College anytime you want to one of the reason why I joined this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course and syllabus are updated every year. There are workshops of coding languages. Faculty is okay. Some are good some are below avg. Few of them are lazy. There are many Extracurricular activities now and then (GD's, dance competition, poster making, digital art competition, fests, modelling and many other). I've just entered second year, so in my one year experience most of the faculty are good but you may find some teachers who waste time in telling stories than teaching. I've heard of placements here but I don't know how good it is yet.

Till now I've not taken part in any technical event, but there are many held here. I've taken part in gd which was well organised in the 2nd round but in the 1st round judges themselves were confused about how to conduct, this event was only for bda and mca students. I've took part in utkarsh (annual fest) dance. It was big and preparations were done quiet well. Seniors are friendly. Events are big and we'll organised.

Fees and Financial Aid

At time of admission they also give scholarship on the basis of 12th percentage. There is scholarship for obc, sc/st, students with low annual income.

Campus Life

In terms of infrastructure, BBD has done a good job. Classes are spacious and well ventilated. There is a cricket stadium an auditorium. Nescafe spacious canteen. There are 2 canteens. Volleyball and basketball courts. Table tennis and many other sports. Library is also very big and with huge windows gives a better environment to study(when quiet). Computer labs are good, all computers work fine, in my floor there are 3 computer labs. College has many small and big gardens that adds more beauty!. Overall infrastructure is quite good.

Likes

Environment is good, the overall environment is calm
The hostel is good, it is hygienic and provides regular maintainence
The campus feels quiet safe and have good security with strict regulations

Dislikes

The network connectivity is not up to the mark
There are very less number of cultural events taking place in this college
Hectic study schedules which leaves no time for extra curricular activitoes

Placements of thos college is quiet good Many big companies provides internships and placements This year also quiet many students got placed TCS visited the campus for hiring Average packhage is 15 lakh per annum

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Life at SRM.

Likes

A good and friendly environment on campus where students from all around nearby cities and states stay together in harmony.
Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

There are very good and highly qualified Faculties for each subject.
There is lot of clubs and groups which give exposure to the students.
Location of College is best in Greater Noida

There is little busy management and take time to respond query.
Highly busy schedule of college timings.
There can be delay in examinations from its expected date.

Placement Experience:

Placement in GCET is one of the good In greater Noida colleges. The average package of this college is 4-6 L.P.A. Companies like TCS, J.P Morgan, Josh Technology, L.G etc visited every year. Mass recruiters like wipro,infosys,capegemini also visited every year. About 85% students every year placed from the college. After getting degree my plans are getting very good placemnt from this college.

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

There is so much happening in college that it gets a little bit confusing sometimes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because its really a noble profession and I would like to contribute by best into this course. The curriculum preparess me for the real world applications really well especially moot courts. The teaching methods of the teachers are really fun and engaging they interact with the whole class. Makes it easy to understand the subject. No improvemnets needed right now. The exams are of moderate level and of 2hrs max internals and helps in improving.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

My story is that I was giving NEET exam and I took a 3rd drop in which I scored 6:37. But could not get an MBBS College. I was short of around 11 to 12 marks. So I decided to pursue BCA. And by the time my neat result was announced, many BCA colleges. Outside of my hometown, Lucknow were already full. Or they were. Very pricey and costly. So I thought that should I should do my BCA in my hometown and I was looking for colleges. So I shortlisted two colleges that is Amity University and BBD University. And due to my good grades in 12th and 10th I got admission. In both but the Amity university was not giving me any scholarship and it costed me almost double the amount as BBD University. So I took the. Admission in BBD University. And the rest of the colleges were also good, but from. My relatives who are studying in other colleges, they gave me very negative reviews. And so I talked to the seniors. Of the respective colleges and I heard that BBD is a decent college, but don't expect any placement from BCA course. So I thought that for a graduation. Best engineering college in lucknow

I applied for galgotias university and chandigarh University but according to me this college is far better than those if students are coming from other states or district. This college is fully active for anti ragging and this college doesn't allow any kind of discrimination. Also this college provides a lot of events. As compared to all other colleges in lucknow, bbd University exam level is average than others, students can easily pass the exam if he studied average.
