Remarks

This is the first agriculture university of India. And it's one of the biggest university of India. This university has a campus area of 40 km sq it has 8 different colleges for different degree programs. This is the first choice of Icar students all over the India. This is in my state.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is informative and thorough. The practical knowledge is more important. This course is all about nutrition,processing and food safety. This is a semester system based 4 year degree program. Semester ends with 2 internal 1 external and one lab final exam. The faculty is so much supporting and Frank with students that it's always a great environment in class.

Class Size: 24Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Placement Experience

There are many jobs opportunity in this course. There is entrepreneur ship cell for contacting different organizations and companies. There are several alumini meets all over the year for career counseling and bonding between the students and alumini's.campus placement is not that good.

The campus life is hectic and boring sometimes. As it's all about living in 40 km square. There are many societies for organising different events. Different colleges have different societies and student also have different societies. There events are for different skill programs.

A well rounded experience at GEHU dehradun .

Placement Experience:

At GEHU, placement eligibility starts from the 6th semester. companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Amazon visit the campus. The highest package offered is around 35LPA and the average is 4-6LPA. About 70-80% of students get placed , mainly in IT and management roles. After completing my degree I plan to work in the industry and later pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placement are fine I won't say good for our course most of students prefer for higher students so the placement percentage will be 50- 60 . Student are eligible in their last for placement . Placement are provided by college but if you want off campus it's the students choice . The companies are :- United bioceuticals, ALPS , graphic era hospital etc.

UPES University brings in a different energy!!

Placement Experience:

Infy, Techno India, Brumha and many as techies are required all over. From a watchmaker to salt maker without a techie a business can't grow big. So, even though there are 500+ CSE students still 75 percent or so get placed easily from our campus.
