Remarks

I joined this college because this college provides good facility for the students who are willing to become a pharmacist. This college is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India. The college is affiliated to Kerala University of Health and Sciences. The college is situated in Madayipara and the transportation facilities like bus and train is available to reach this city.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus is up to date. The course mainly deals with the preparation of pharmaceuticals and it's quality control. The course B.Pharm is a UG degree and have a total of eight semesters. Theory and practical classes are conducted in the college. Almost every faculties are friendly with us.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Placement Experience

The job opportunity for junior pharmacist is lower in India. Mainly after completing the course, many of them works in a pharmacy store. Pharmacist also have job opportunities in Pharmaceutical companies and hospitals.

The extra curricular activities are given importance in our college. Our college have conducted many programs and activities including Arts day and college day. Freshers day and sports day is also conducted by the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Data Science is a rising field in computer science. It has lots of oppurtunities in todays world and easy compared to other fields, which made me choose data science. The curriculum consist of various computer programming languages including Python, R and so on which are vital in the field of data science. There are also experienced faculties for teaching of the programming languages. I personally felt that lab hours are not adequate and also the available hours are also not properly utitlised by some teachers. At the end of each semester we have exams and results are published soon as the exams are over, no lagging compared to other universitites.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

The course doesn't require any entrance exam. Eligibility is to pass plus two in science with min. of 50%. Application is through Akshaya centres. The application fee is about Rs100. Crescent college is one of the best college in Kannur that provides the course B.pharm. They also provide other pharmacy courses like D.pharm and Pharm.D.
