Anonymous's Review On Crescent College Of Pharmaceutical Sciences Payangadi, Kannur

Crescent college is one of the best college in Kannur that provides the course B.pharm. They also provide other pharmacy courses like D.pharm and Pharm.D. PG course for Pharmacy is also provided by the college i.e. M.Pharm. The college is situated in Madayipara which is one of the tourist destination of our area. I chose this college because the atmosphere here is pretty good that there would be no disturbance of city and vehicle sounds.

B.pharm is an undergraduate course that is required to become a pharmacist. The syllabus was updated recently and the previous yearly system was updated to semester system. The duration of the course is 4 years and there would be 8 semesters totally. Theory and practical exams would be conducted for each subject in every semester. Minimum marks for each of the subject to be qualified is 50%. The faculties of the college is mainly junior lectures. There isn't a good stability in maintaining a lecturer in the college. We didn't get any industrial exposure from the college.

The majority of the graduate students work as a Pharmacist in a community pharmacy. Some of them works in hospital pharmacy and few of them works in industrial Pharmacy. Our college doesn't provide any placement for the students who completed the course. There wasn't any company that is willing to provide placement for the students who completed the course in our college. The college management should do a better job in bringing a partnership with some companies and to provide placement for the students.

The campus life was very enjoyable. Every year the college conducts programs and events including Arts day, college day, sports day and freshers day. The college also supports the cultural events and festivals like Onam and Christmas celebration. Our College have its own auditorium hall that is used for conducting these programs and events. The auditorium can fill all the students and staffs in it.
