Sejal Sanadi's Review On Guru Nanak Khalsa College Of Arts, Science & Commerce, Mumbai

Remarks :

I got this college based on my merit score, it also close to my residence which made travelling easy. Staff is very helpful and infrastructure is pretty good. It also holds various events for students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course syllabus did not meet the expectations, it did not cover the the skill or knowledge required in industry now a days. However, industrial visits were of great help which gave practical experience and helped understand things better

Placement Experience :

Placements for management courses are satisfying enough however for other cources students may seek help from the faculty members if needed

College Events :

There are many event for students which is a great fun. Lot of students participate and show their skills, it's pretty much entertaining. Various competitions are also held such as debates, quizess, other games etc with generous rewards. The college also invites famous public figure or celebrities for certain events.

Campus Life :

College has a huge ground, atmosphere is pleasing but it lacks in hygiene, washrooms are not well maintained specially those for girls. Classrooms are well ventilated and spacious and clean. Corridors and equally spacious with nice view

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from 6th semester. Big companies that visit TCET includes JP Morgan Chase & co and infyTQ which are quite popular and give average packages of 17.5 lpa and 10 lpa respectively. The complete average package including every company that visits is around 4-5 lpa. 100% placement*. After getting degree I might go for higher studies through gate and pursue my masters in computer science.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

Remarks:

First of all, the main reason to choose this college is that, this was government college affiliated with aicte and NAAC approved. I took my admission in aug 2016,by scoring good score in state cet. I secured 104/200 at that time. The admission Process is very smooth. The people were helpful. It took me only one day for whole admission Process.
