IIT Gandhinagar boasts of a flexible academic structure there is no department segregation and you can do courses from any discipline as well and academics here lays emphasis on interdisciplinary learning. Besides the focus on the engineering subjects, IIT Gandhinagar undergraduate students coursework also gives due credit to subjects like Design, Life Sciences, Basic Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences which gives students a lot to explore.

I gave here IIT JEE exam here my friend suggest me this college when i was came here i was got surprised this college is really as good as i was though this college really has healthy and good environment of study i have an option to choose other college that is ITT Delhi but it i was choose this college because it has very unique way of study.

The aim of teaching that how we can move to development and attempts to prepare them for their last job, rather than for their first job. It has a significant component of humanities and social sciences, compulsory course in life-sciences, significant exposure to design and creativity, and provides flexibility to the students to choose their own learning path.

IIT Gandhinagar is invits applications for its summer research internships. The program is aimed at building strong ties with other institutions through research at IIT Gandhinagar and bringing together students and faculty from prominent institutions across the country on the campus.

A total of 125 BTech students and 18 M.Tech students graduated from IIT-Gandhinagar this year. Out of the 125 B.Tech students, 89 opted for placements from campus, and 72 got placed. Last year, 93 BTech students, comprising the first batch, graduated from IIT-Gandhinagar.The amount of foreign exposure during the four-year engineering course has also increased by more than 10 percent.

The IIT Gandhinagar use to organise so many technical, cultural, management festivals. IIT Gandhinagar annual cultural program is Blithchron but the true name is 'Blitheﾒ meaning festivity and ﾑchronosﾒ meaning ﾑtimeﾒ Blithchron aims to provide a festive time, not just for the fun-loving Gujjus, but the whole of India.

I am from middle class family so it is little hard to manage fee or other exp for my parents but if focus on overall facilities then the fee seems worth not like other very exp college.

IIT Gandhinagar provides MCM (Merit Cum Means) based scholarship. This program aims to the students who are good in their study. FreeshipIIT Gandhinagar offers freeships to students who are not eligible for MCM Scholarships. The main objective of this scholarship is to support financially weak students. The general and OBC category of students are eligible for this scholarship. This scholarship is available to additional 10% of the students who do not qualify or could not be awarded MCM. The final decision to award the scholarship is taken by the Senate Scholarship and Prize Committee after interviewing all the applicants. All the awardees are normally exempted from payment of annual tuition fee. However, the committee could decide to waive the tuition fee only for a semester and revisit the decision based on the academic performance of the student. The scholarships expire at the end of academic year.

We have quite an eventful campus life with several events/fests/competitions taking place in college organised by students itself which play a huge role in personality development.

Mess food services have been outsourced to a top caterer a committee comprising of students manages the mess and ensures that the students are provided with healthy food night Canteen is also available for the students.

I am currently studying here but my seniors has good review about IIT Gandhinagar they always said they have learn a lot from here now their furthers are bright so it is motivational for me.

There are currently three behavioural cubicles housing personal computers that can support behavioural data collection. The cubicles are partially sound-proof dark rooms with adjustable lighting. The computers have Matlab installed on them along with the Psychophysics Toolbox. These facilities are used by postgraduate students and faculty members for research on decision making, attention, agency etc.

The entire institute and the hostels are well equipped with high speed Wi-Fi internet facilities along with LAN facilities in the computer labs, The permanent campus of IITGN is about 20 km away from Ahmedabad airport and about 32 km from Ahmedabad railway station.
