Remarks

The reputation of this college and also my cousins and relatives suggested me to go for this college. It is a very good university and also all the people i know who have studied there have had a very good experience there and are well placed.

Course Curriculum Overview

In my opinion each and everything is been taken care of in an organised manner. Faculty is also very nice and understanding. So, any person would not face any problems regarding the studies or any other college related issue.

All well known and top notch companies come to our college and based on the students overall performance and grades they provide jobs and packages

Our college is well known for all the extracurricular activities and the exciting events that we have on a regular basis. It's always fun and one learns a lot by participating in such events. Also it boosts the morale of the participants.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you've scored really well in you +2 exams definitely scholarships are going to provide also if you've scored well in any all india entrance exam

Campus Life

The college infrastructure is also designed well and is well built. Each and every facility required is provided. And a person can never get bored of it. So, one must give it a try. I highly recommend it.

Hostel Facilities

As i have opted for PG i.e. paying guest I won't be able to tell much about the hostel. But, i have my lunch in the college mess which is really good and has clean and healthy for to offer always, with a lot of variety of food.

Students are eligible for placement from 6th semester onwards most of the big companies do visit our campus like apple Flipkart Microsoft Google airbus and most of the big companies come in our placement I package for electrical branch in 2025 was 52 lpa and the average median package remained about 13 LPA for2025 the data isn't out yet but typically 72to 75 percent students get placed in my branch my plans after the degree is to get a stable corporate job of 18+lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. Flexibility of course and type it has to be done . For further academic pursuits definitely yes but for real world application as of now except computer application there is no real world application of this as of physics it is more derivation type topic is covered in the first semester as of now. I course should be designed to prepare for real world application not the old school craming and derivation type. Exam happen twice a year in april and in novembor-december and of moderate level

Placement Experience:

The placement process is began and ended only in third semester as forth semester is for internship. Mostly the companies from tricity visits here like edifecs, chicmic, inno8 etc. MCA students from PU Chandigarh, regional center (Hoshiarpur and Muktsar) students and MSC students sit together for the placements. The highest package from last year was 17 LPA and this year till date is 7.25 LPA. Average package is 4LPA.

My Honest Review for P.U.

Placement Experience:

The semester in which students are eligible for campus placements vary from department to department. In my course, students are eligible for campus placements in their 3rd semester. For the 2022-24 batch, 17 companies visited the department for placement which includes American express, josh, mediatek and more tri City companies. The highest package was offered to a student by mediatek of 17 lpa. 63 % of the students gets placed from previous batch. I am planning to get a descent placement after the degree.
