Remarks

I wanted to do Diploma, so i choose this institute in the councelling as it is near my home town. So this is the reason behind choosing Dibrugarh Institute of Polytechnic. We have many options to choose from 21 other Polytechnic.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus was so old. Even new syllabus was not enough for todays world and competition. We were not given any practical exposures, Very less practical knowledge, we needed the practical knowledge most but not given. Faculties were worst in Dibrugarh polytechnic.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 3380 per year

Placement Experience

No placement and support from institute. worst placement cell and faculty. No one is future protected.

College Events

Its worst, campus don't have any hostel facility for boys. Faculty members are worst at their best. No support for future. No placement for Civil Engineering Students. No training placements. No funds for college development.

Campus Life

Theres one library and labs for different subjects with old equipments and machines. Sports or college week once a year With no funds. No wifi facility as it is government institute. New equipment is required but not provided.

The college i study in is very good

Placement Experience:

Students from 5th semester onwards are ready for campus placements. The students from our college gets a very good college placement at a very nice company and salary. The percentage of students getting degree are 80% and my plan after my degree are to become "Company Secretary or job at SBI".

Students normally appear for placements in fourth year with two placement seasons namely from december to january and february to march. Companies include quant companies and tech giants like JPMC, Reliance Industries, WellsFargo,Piramal, Standard Chartered,Texas Instrumentation, walmart, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte,Oracle, HCL, Barclays, Tata steel, uber, legato, Mastercard, Nutanix, BPCL, BEL,PWC, Socgen, etc. Almost 80% students get placed every year with the average package ?1,60,000. The highest package was 1.68 crore per annum from the branch of Computer Science.

ASSAM UNIVERSITY SILCHAR , THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY

Placement Experience:

only fourth year students are eligible for campus placements . the detalis of the visiting compaies are not thte sure but at least 10 stuents are placed each year from every single batch. the higest so far was 20 lpa and it was in amazon , the student who cracked that placement applied it off campus . on campus placement was not more than 10 lpa so far . the percentage of students getting placemnets are less than 50% not because of quality of placement but majority stuents opt for higher studies or goverment jobs rather than direct placement . my paln is to also pursue higher education

Course Curriculum Overview:

The practical learning of the subject. It provides quite deeo learning into each subject. As the course provide theoretical as well as practical knowledge it becomes quite easy to apply the knowledge to further academic of occupational pursuits. Also it provides 3 months internship after the completion of the course. The improvement areas are the teaching methods of some subjects like pharmacognosy, social pharmacy, etc. Exams are conducted in a time interval of every 2-3 months. The duration of the session exams are 1and half hours while that of final exam is 3 hours for each subject.

UNBOXING OF DIBRUGARH POLYTECHNIC

The eligibility criteria for this course is 10 th pass including maths and science and age criteria upto 21 years . The application form is provided in college website the fees of the application form is around 100 rupees. A Entrance test is conducted known as polytechnic addmission test where we have to score minimum 60% to get admission in a reputed college there are also reserved seats for SC, ST ,OBC,MOBC and other lower classes .The exam is conducted once in every year around 10 AM . The exam timing is 2 hrs where we have to choose the correct MCQS the exam is not very difficult as it includes class 10 maths and science syllabus and easy to score good marks.
